The theatrical trailers of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (ADHM) are out and if the response to the trailers is anything to go by, then it’s going to be advantage ‘Shivaay’ during Diwali this year – atleast as far as the opening is concerned.
While the trailer of Shivaay was unanimously applauded for its visuals and grandeur, the trailer of ADHM has been criticised for being too confusing and underwhelming.
A quick look at the ‘likes vs dislikes’ ratio on Youtube, makes it pretty clear. Shivaay trailer has 340,068 likes against 12,199 dislikes. ADHM trailer has 39,422 likes against 8,643 dislikes. In other words, more than 97% people people have ‘liked’ the Shivaay trailer, whereas only 82% of people have liked the trailer of ADHM. The difference isn’t huge but 18% dislikes is a big number.

No comparison at all. Shivay all day way! ADHM is a horrendous one.. It’s so boring monotonous disgusting.. ADHM itself will be horrible too.. One more TAMASHA is coming for sure..

What missing in adhm trailer is intensity that was shown in the teaser the seriousness we all have been expecting intense love story but it turns out regular romcom on the other side shivaay looks super good but i am highly doubtful full about content and i have this bad feeling that shivaay story will let down the whole movie but that’s only my opinion lets hope both turns out good movies

Its my personal opinion and maybe like a question mark ?
Why should trailer release for a particular Movie ?
I mean some people directly stick to negativity and criticising which cause Major Damages to the Movie itself whether it is good watch movies at theares
I mean why peoples first of all deciding FATE of a particular movie unlike without watching the same at theatres
Eg : MD Trailer vs MD Theatres Response vs MD BOC India
Although some people will unanimously applauded the trailer but at theatres some movies failing and some winning
Eg : Fan Trailer vs Fan Theatres Response vs Fan BOC India
Sultan Trailer vs Sultan Theatres Response vs Sultan BOC India
Pink Trailer vs Pink Theatres Response
So If im producer or director of Kaabil Movie
I will not release any 3 min trailer instead i will release 1 min trailer of songs or posters
You audience go directly and watch movies at theatres you dont decide my movie fate on youtube

Mark my words, none of Salmans fan will watch ADHM. This is the biggest setback for ADHM.
You cannot compare the trailer of action movies with Drama. How can you show the best scenes of drama in 3min while you can show many action scenes in just 1min. The content is the king. Bang Bang trailer was superb but average trailer Bjarangi bhaijan or lunch box or queen or english vinglish won many heart.
The trailer of Shivaay is better..no doubt
But im in live with the songs of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil ..All the best to both the teams
