Ajay Devgn has released the second trailer of his directorial venture ‘Shivaay’. It’s shorter than the first trailer which was released early August, but delves into the story a little more.
Shivaay is the story of an extraordinary man in an extraordinary circumstance. Shivaay, a Himalayan mountaineer, is an innocent everyman, who is capable of transforming into a mean destroyer when he needs to protect his family.
Ajay has a message for his audience at the end of the trailer, he says “Thank you for the great response to the first trailer of Shivaay. Now, presenting the second trailer, hope you like that too. Shivaay is releasing on the 28th of October, so go ahead and book your tickets. A very happy Diwali to all of you all, Shivaay wali Diwali”

weird how after watching it, I thought it was a mixture of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Rocky Handsome..because he was trying to save the girl throughout the trailer and the girl didnt/could not speak…
This late trailer shows that makers are not confident in their product..Even Bang Bang only had a teaser and they said they will not release trailer but had to because of buzz dying and no faith in content..This is like the same case…

I think Shivaay has to gross in excess of 200 cr to be successful. ADHM will be good at 150 cr.
It looks like we have two good films for Diwali, My preference is for ADHM, but I intend to see both. They are different but both will be worthwhile to see. No failure for either of them.

@sss : Before SOS release in 2012 many SRK fans were predicted SOS to be disaster (may be you were not on Indicine at that time) and after release just for 20 crs difference (domestic) they call it as victory that too with 500 screens difference.
