Bollywood actor Shammi Kapoor, known for his style and flamboyance, passed away early morning on Sunday after he was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Friday (12th August). He was 79 when he died of Renal Failure.
Popular for his lighthearted movies, Shammi Kapoor made his Bollywood debut way back in the year 1953 and later went on to star in films like Junglee and Professor.
The legendary actors last appearance will be in the yet-to-be-released movie Rockstar directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring his grand nephew Ranbir Kapoor.
The news of his death, soon resulted in a flurry of condolences and tributes on Twitter and Google Plus. Here are some of them..
