Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, widely regarded as one of the best actors in the industry for his award-winning performances in films like Chak De India and Swades, took to Twitter to share some of tips on acting.
“Acting Gyaan – 1. Acting is expressing what you don’t understand, not what you know. If you know it, then it’s a fact. That’s facting not acting!
“2. Acting is giving your heart, knowing you will lose it. Feeling the truth even when it’s a lie. Believing it’s permanent knowing it won’t last” he tweeted.
Khan awaits the release of his only release of 2014 – Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan, scheduled to release during the festive season of Diwali.

Aamirs double role act in Dhoom 3 was universally more loved loved by audiences as otherwise it wouldnt have been viewed so much n thus beat the crappy records of Lungi Express n fake cartoonish records of Rohit 3. Aamirs Double Role antics were more convincing than Rohits double/ triple role in Rohit 3 where he played Papa Rohit, Hubby Rohit, Super Wannabe Non Flying Hero Rohit n in the end Rohit was seen reborn as Baby Rohit but I wont class that as his role until we see it in the next movie. Theatre, television, movies SRK has done it all! No other actor in his generation has the vast repertoire that he has. When others were stuck in safe teen love stories, it was SRK who had guts to do negative roles. Legendary directors’ first choice has always been SRK whether it was Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Shankar or even Rajkumar Hirani.
Only a great actor is on wishlist of every filmmaker.

Just noticed that most people here seem to be judging the acting capabilities of an actor based on the success of the film. Come on people, I mean, the legend of bhagat singh was a flop but ajay was fantastic is that. Guzaarish was a flop but Hrithik was amazing in that. Swades was flop but srk was fantastic in that. Meanwhile, successful films dont necessarily have great performances from its lead actors. I mean, is vivek oberois performance in grand masti top notch? I dont think so. As to the ratings of the top stars, everyone has their opinion, and here is mine. I’m being completely honest about my views, if someone doesn’t agree with it, thats fine because each persons thinking varies.
Acting wise:-
Ajay> srk> ranbir> hrithik >aamir> akshay>salman
Stardom wise:-
srk=salman>aamir>hrithik>akshay=ranbir>ajay
I put srk and salman together in the stardom list since salman might be a little more popular than srk in India but if you consider worldwide, srk is way ahead.
Now let me explain why I placed the actors in such a way in the acting department:-
The first thing I know that I’ll be criticized against is for putting aamir behind ranbir and hrithik. The reason is, I feel that aamir does not have the capability to carry off an entire film on his own shoulders. I mean, take 3 idiots for example, aamir was great, no doubt, but the highlight of the film was the story and the dialogues and every character was remembered and appreciated. Rang de basanti had a brilliant storyline, aamir was good but again, other aspects of the film grabbed more attention than aamir. Ghajini was the only film I felt in which aamir was the soul. I mean, i cant imagine the movie without aamir. But, he failed miserably again in dhoom 3. He tried, for sure, but the mediocre script and the stupid action scenes couldnt save the film. I also didnt like him in fanaa, perhaps beacaue nobody beats srk iat romance! Next, it took me sometime to debate with myself whether I should put ranbir first or hrithik. I was really confuse. I decided to go with ranbir because of his amazing amazing performances in rockstar and barfi. Those 2 films really proved ranbirs credentials as an actor. The other films in which ranbir was outstanding were rajneeti, wake up sid and yjhd. He was ok in apkgk and anjaana anjaani. I loved hrithik in guzaarish, kmg, knph, dhoom 2. I felt he was ok in znmd and krish. Now coming to srk, hes miles ahead of the others when it comes to romantic films. I mean, even his diehrd haters would agree with me in this one. ddlj, kkhh, vz, khnh, k3g, mohabattein, these are evergreen classics. Srk has become kind of like a standard when it comes to romantic roles. Unlike aamir, srk has the capacity to take the entire film on his shoulders. Look at cdi, swades, mnik, don 2. Yo cannot imagine all those films with srk in it. Some people, especially the haters, say that he overacts a lot. Well, yeah, he overacted in oso, ce and main hoon na. But arent people supposed to overact in masala fims. Ajay overacts in golmaal series, sos, bol bachchan, etc. Salman overacts in all his films. Akshay overacts in rowdy rathore, boss, etc. Ranbir overacts in besharam. Those are the kind of films in which people are supposed to overact, don’t you think? Now, people would not have a doubt why I placed salman last.

Most of them put Either Hr or Srk at no 1 while many put Aamir behind than Ranbir and Ajay Devgn.the reason for so called intelligent peoples best actor standard is that just because Srk did Mnik,cdi,khnh etc and Hr did Kmg,gujaarish etc role they are bigger and most talented actor. Rofl. In Big b’s 44 year old career Big b did most challenging role came in 2005 with black and 2009 with Paa.
