Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will be co-hosting the Star Screen awards, which will be held on December 4. The news comes a day after Salman announced the release date of SRK’s upcoming untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Salman had tweeted ”SRK ki film aa rahi hai. Date maine decide kar di hai. Title tum log decide kardo. Best of luck Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali”
Anushka replied saying ”What’s this Shah Rukh Khan? Our release date’s decided!?”
SRK said “Arre I had no idea. We are still searching for the title. What to do now? Go with this date or what?”
Alia, who was seen with SRK in ‘Dear Zindagi’, joined in the discussion and said ”August is too far away ya! Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan. Am saving the date immediately. But Imtiaz what to put in as the title? Can’t wait.”
Anushka finally tweeted “Mark your calendar guys – 11th August, 2017! What you seek… is seeking you”
Now with Salman and Shah Rukh reuniting to co-host the ‘Star Screen awards’, high TRPs are pretty much guaranteed. The awards ceremony will be telecast on Saturday 31st December on Star Plus.

This is too much. I appreciate their friendship but would like to see a cautioned Salman than the casual one. Let them be friends but should get too close and again something. I fear they do not fight again.
Why they r taking this much time to make a film together…..hope there will be Sally and King Khan Multistar film in near future…

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had been fighting for a few years in between. But like they say, when old friends fight, it’s not forever. So when the two best buddies cleared their differences and got back together, guess who had the biggest loss! Aamir Khan.
Why? Well, soon after SRK and Salman went back to being closest buds, hell broke loose between Aamir and Salman. Aamir reportedly had a massive fight with Salman right after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and although the two have quashed rumours of a fallout, recent episodes tell a very different story. And they’re proof that Salman has sided with SRK and not with Aamir.
When Shah Rukh’s latest film Dear Zindagi hit theatres, Sallu took to Twitter to send out a special message for the team. He even recommended everyone to go and watch SRK and Alia’s film.
And now, he even went ahead and launched the first look of Anushka Sharma and SRK’s next with Imtiaz Ali. Yes, it was Salman who unveiled the first look from the romantic drama and according to SRK, he only decided the release date too. Wow!
And on the other hand, the Dangal posters had released and the trailer has created huge euphoria among the audiences already. But Salman has not written a word and not even mentioned it once on his social media. Given that he considers Aamir as a good friend and that the two have denied any fight between the two, we wonder why he has come out of his way to support SRK’s films and not done the same for Aamir’s Dangal. Think think! Like they say, actions speak louder than words.
