For the second time in six months, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has slapped a notice summoning Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in connection with the valuation of shares of his co-owned IPL cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders, sources said here on Tuesday.
The ED is investigating whether the shares of the team were allegedly undervalued as it could be violative of the provisions of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
Earlier, the ED had served a notice to the team in May this year but Shah Rukh had not appeared before the agency.
Prior to that, Shah Rukh was quizzed in 2011 for allegations that KKR had received illegal money transferred from certain foreign tax havens.
The company Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd, which runs the KKR team, is jointly owned by Shah Rukh, actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.
It is alleged that five million shares of KRSPL were sold to Mehta’s company, Sea Islands Investments Ltd, based in Mauritius in 2008 and were reportedly undervalued.
Shah Rukh is away on a film shooting assignment and sought time to appear before the investigating agency which has not set any time-frame on the issue.
In 2011, Shah Rukh was directed to provide relevant documents including the purchase of players, revenues, advertising details and the team’s shareholding pattern.

So I would appreciate if you read it and act upon the concerns which I am going to raise being a regular visitor of your website .
1. I guess, you guys founded this website in 2006 i.e. almost 10 years before. Since then , you have evolved a lot. You have got regular visitors from all across the globe and you have every ingredient in your website to make it the most loved and popular Biollywood website. But sadly, it seems you guys are not bothered at all. You publish 3-4 articles per day, you get around 80-100 comments on those articles and your job is done.
2. But I believe there is much scope beyond that. How about creating Avatar for each user(regular visitors) and providing them a unique login credential. You can make such an arrangement that if that registered user posts a comment, it will be published instantaneously without any further moderation. You can closely monitor the comments of registered users and if you find he/she is violating your moderation rules, you can block their IDs.
3. The third and most important concern is , your moderation system. I am not saying this because I am an SRK fan or you blocked my comments, but I am saying it genuinely . Are you really bothered about your readers and their comments ? It’s not a rocket science and perhaps everybody knows that your website is hosted on WordPress and WordPress provides an in-built Admin panel where comments will be displayed on the dashboard and you can bulk approve those comments. So, if you assign a single resource also. I repeat , if you assign a single resource to approve these comments regularly , it will make the comment approval at least 5 times faster. But in this scenario I guess you take it as timepass. Whenever you have time, you will come and approve few comments . Again other comments will be waiting for another 3-4 hours for your approval. Can’t you make this approval faster?
4. Also, you block the comments very frequently. Have you ever given the details on what basis you block the comments ? So that , a user will avoid all those things in future? Again, its not about a specific star and his fans. It’s a generalized statement. Whether its SRK fan, Salman fan, Amir fan or any other actor fan, if they comment, means they invest significant amount of time to draft that comment. So for you, it might be just a click . You just click on “Delete” comments and your job is done. But please note that you are accountable to all those readers, who put so much efforts to draft a comment.
You might ignore above points in arrogance, that Its my website and I will run it in whatever way I want, but please note it’s the readers and your visitors who have made your website famous. So it might not affect you if 50-100 odd users stop visiting your website, but if you want to be invincible in long run, you will have to pay your attention to every single reader. At least, I want you to explain the users if you are rejecting their comments that on what basis it was blocked. And yes, please assign at least one resource dedicated for comment approval, because I can bet you don’t have full time resource for this work.

@Xzone, Thanks for taking the effort to give us your valuable feedback. We are working on improving the moderation system. We plan on adding user registration after the release of Dilwale i.e Jan 2016. Comments cannot be bulk approved because we delete nearly 30% of comments that are posted. Sometimes more. We tend to be more lenient with comments that appear 2nd page onwards. Thousands of people view the first page, even those who don’t comments or recognise regular commenters, especially the traffic we get from Google. So approving a comment are not is subjective.
Some quick tips to not get comment deleted
1. Don’t abuse
2. Don’t post off-topic comments in the first 20 comments of an article
3. Name-calling to a certain extent is fine, but when it goes out of hand, we delete those comments.
4. Some comments add zero value. For example one word comments or an entire comment is a personal attack on another reader. Such comments are deleted.

What’s wrong in above comment ? There is no mention of any other superstar, nor I used any abusive words. And this is just an example. I have witnessed this a number of times in past, and I believe same is the case with other readers (irrespective of whatever fanbase they belong to) as well.
So I agree that you would delete 30% of offensive comments, but that is certainly not the solo reason behind blocked comments . I feel , at times, if huge comment flow is there, Mr. Moderator tries to pick few random comments and post it. That’s what I feel.
And why I was forced to review your moderation system is, when I posted this comment I was handling a client escalation and was coordinating on the same with my Team. When I saw this article, I took a quick break of 20 minutes to draft these comments and post. But it was very disappointing to see that these comments were not published. That’s why I told that you might not be aware but it requires a lot of efforts and time of a reader to post single comment . So please be little cautious while approving the comments and allow everyone (I am not talking about a particular fan base) to put their views if their comments fulfil your moderation criteria.
