Shah Rukh Khan has said he wants to do 3 films every years, but that hasn’t been the case in the last years or so. On an average, the gap between two SRK films is 11 months.
But all that is set to change as Fan releases exactly 4 months after Dilwale and Raees will release exactly 2 months after FAN hits theatres.
The biggest gap between two SRK’s films was when Ra One released 622 days (21 months / nearly 2 years) after My Name Is Khan. The least gap was between Ra One and Don 2 (61 days).

Akshay has star power than aamir and sallu in last decade,his kik,sik,welcome etc take record break opening.but filims like tmk,joker and khiladi 786 degrade his star power and multiplexes didnt trust him.now the platform changed,after 2 or 3 years akshay he come back 2 or 3rd position replacing any of 2 khans.

Regarding fan following I have seen that when his good films like Paheli and swades bombed at boxofficw and failed to recover. Let’s not even talked about other franchise Don 2 released on Christmas.
Regarding Mass film success these all Masala film trend started by Aamir with Ghajini which was blockbuster opener & success in mass circuit as well. Same goes for Dhoom 3. Aamir generally invest him in different kind of movies which largely not appeal outside of multiplex other wise he can easily did 3-4 films Masala back to back post Ghajini success.
