Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees is one of the most awaited films of the year and the pictures that have leaked onto the internet are mighty impressive. SRK is living the character that he plays in Raees and his intensity remind us of his Kabir Khan act in Chak De India.
Currently, a few important sequences of Raees are being shot in Navi Mumbai. Khan, along with the cast and crew of the film were at the Uran Beach.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees stars Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in the lead. The film is set in the 80s of Gujarat and the character of the protagonist is based on a real-life don.

Shah Rukh Khan has never shied away from doing out of the box films even when not many were trying things differently. Chak De India was a real eye opener which introduced a side of SRK’s histrionics nobody thought of exploring ever. With all its flaws intact, Swades was an out of box film for the actor and he excelled in it. This year, everyone is excited to see that same SRK in Raees and Fan. However, more than the films, it is his unconventional choices in recent times which are making us really proud of him. He is working in Gauri Shinde’s next with Alia Bhatt and an Anand L Rai film (allegedly). There were also rumours that the superstar is keen to be part of Imtiaz Ali’s next as well. The recent story at that front is that the actor is considering Ali’s film very seriously but apparently, hasn’t said yes to it.
A daily today quoted a source saying, “He is yet to give his nod for the project. It will take some more time since he is busy with the shooting of Raees.” The source further told the daily that, “They have met a couple of times, but nothing has been finalised yet. When Shah Rukh gets a break from Raees shoot, he will sit with Imtiaz for the script narration.” When SRK was asked about the same earlier, he said, “We are friends, and sometimes we just want to know what we are thinking, not with me in these projects necessarily. So, Imtiaz and I have done this exercise many times. We both feel that one day we will come together for a film, and if that happens, it will be very nice. I would love to work with Imtiaz.”
