‘Shaandaar’ is one of the biggest debacles of the year so far, as the film had a very poor weekend of around 39 crore. The collections of the film during the weekdays was so poor that shows had to be cancelled as not a single ticket was sold.
Morning shows that did run had occupancy of less than 5%. Evening shows were poor too.
The extended 8-day first week business will be around the 40 crore mark. The film will be out of most theatres tomorrow and finish with lifetime business of less than 42 crore. Everyone involved will lose money on a film that has been rejected by every section of the audience.
In comparison, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ which cost about a third of ‘Shaandaar’ and had zero star-value, has crossed the 50 crore mark. The shows of the film at multiplexes has been increased in Week 3. With no competition from major films this week, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ is looking at lifetime business of 60 crore plus, making it one of the biggest ROI hits of 2015.

Shaandaar is one of the Biggest Flops of 2015 along with BV and Phantom produced both the movies . After the debacle of Shaandaar i can’t say where is Shahid’s career going ? Shaandaar was looking one of the most promising movies of 2015 in terms of business and the biggest movie of SK as it was his first movie with Dharma . Alia had a 100 % success ratio but with Shaandaar she got her first failure and now she knows how to react when you face an failure . With this movie one thing is clear public is not settled for anything less and Rom Com is biting the dust left, right and centre . Now Tamasha can be the next target . I heard Shahid did Shaandaar for his friend Madhu Mantena and now he is extremely disappointed and gutted . He is also sad because his father was in the movie and this is Pankaj Kapoor’s 3rd Back to Back failure after Matru and Finding Fanny . PKP 2 beating the collections of Shaandaar is one of the biggest surprise of 2015 and it is the 3rd Biggest Hit of 2015 till now after TWMR and BB . I think it will beat BB in terms of Profit Percentage .

I think no no no no, I am sure that PRDP is another Salman’s All Time Blockbuster (if content is accepted, which I know that will be).
According to you @Indicine and every other sites the problem is Youth, but I don’t think so, b/c all youngsters are part of family and if family comes to watch PRDP than youngsters will comes too. Youngsters may not watch this movie with their friends but they definitely going to watch it with their family.
So All Time Blockbuster (PRDP) is on it’s way guys.

Poor Shahid. He is much better actor than 3 Khans. But audience didnt recognise his talent. Shahid is still much bigger actor than emraan, he is just a serial kisser and flop hero, always relying on superhit music and actresses for hits.
I think for betterment of bollywood these media made stars like Shahrukh and Ranbir should retire. Let real and selfmade talent take over.
We need more masterpieces like
Baby, OMG, Gabbar, Piku, Lootera, Lunchbox, Special 26, Airlift

It gave an inspiring message.
That film is the best commercial film ever made in bollywood history. Akshay as Gabbar is much better character than Amjad khan version. Amjad’s gabbar was evil, Akshay’s gabbar was a inspirational person.
