Kabir Khan, who recently delivered the universally loved blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, will be directing Hrithik Roshan in a film that will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The script hasn’t been finalised yet. Kabir will be working on it for about a month, after which he is expected to narrate the script to Hrithik.
“It is only in principle now. We have not locked the script. We are talking about a film which Sajid Nadiadwala will produce, I will direct and Hrithik will act in it. I have given myself a month to explore and think of ideas” Kabir Khan said.
The director added that he hopes to present Hrithik in a new avatar.
“There are certain aspects of Hrithik that really excites me and I would like to explore the aspects that have not been done before” Kabir said.
Meanwhile, Hrithik will complete the shoot of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and begin working on the Kabir-Sajid film.
Reliable sources have informed us that Hrithik has verbally agreed to do the film, but is yet to officially sign it.
Whatever it is, fans want 2 releases of Hrithik next year. When on each holiday there is a clash happening, Dangal should not release alone and take the added advantage of holiday as well as of no clash.
Hope they wrap it up in 2016 only and release it on Christmas same year. 2016 should bring back glory days of HR same as it was in 2006. A decade earlier he had Krrish and Dhoom 2 in 2006. Hope he repeats that success.
And if this does comes true, that will be big. 2 films. ATBB. He will then be in a different league altogether and can actually dethrone the Khans from their number 1 position.
I am really looking forward for this movie . Kabir Khan is a very good director and he surprised me with BB . I was expecting BB to be a typical Salman movie with Masala and item songs but it turned out to be one of the Best Movies of 2015 . After working with John, Salman and Saif i am really happy that Kabir is working with Hrithik . In 2012 the contract of Kabir came to an end with YRF . This will be his 6th movie overall and 3rd movie without YRF . Sajid Nadiadwala is also a very smart producer . I also want to see Hrithik in a different avatar in this movie . This time i want Kabir to work on a different topic . New York was about 9/11 attacks . Kabul Express was about 2 journalists going to Afghanistan for reporting . ETT was a love story between a RAW Agent and a ISI Agent . BB was about a Indian Man dropping a Pakistani girl to her home in Pakistan by crossing the border . Phantom was aboit what happened after the 26/11 attacks in a fictitious manner . So basically all movies of Kabir have something about Cross Border Terrorism and India – Pakistan angle . I want Kabir to make a movie on a totally different subject and topic . He can also try a new genre like Romance or Drama . I think this movie will release in 2017 and i am damn excited for this movie . If this movie is as good as NY and BB or better than it will be an exceptional movie and will do thunderous business at the Box Office . I’m not too happy with this news to be fair. I was hoping Hrithik would make something as big or bigger than ‘Mohenjo Daro’ after it. Kabir Khan is good, but he’s not great. Kabir Khan’s next is a step down from ‘Mohenjo Daro’. I believe he can do better. It doesn’t make much sense to reject ‘Paani’ and ‘Shuddhi’ then sign Kabir Khan’s next.

Why do some people want Hrithik’s next to be clashed with Dangal? It would affect the business of both the movies. Furthermore, Hrithik and Aamir are friends, so the clash won’t happen anyway. I’m sure Rustom will be pre/post-poned as well, because it makes no sense to release a movie against a movie with a magnitude of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ for only 1 holiday. It’s neither a festive period (Eid/Diwali/Christmas), nor a long a extended holiday period like last year’s Gandhi Jayanti+Dussehra holidays. If you are clashing with a big movie, then clash it during festive season when most of families go to theaters.
Hrithik has signed the film where the script is not ready yet. So, one can assume that he has signed it with the belief that Kabir will deliver a sureshot blockbuster for him as he had delivered BBs in the form of ETT & BB.
But Hrithik blind belief is not good. Without Salman, he has only given:
Kabul Express (Flop)
N York (Hit)
Phantom (Flop)
Kabir exploring ideas means it must be on terrorism or Indo Pak Relations.
Anyway, I am very excited for this. I want it to be a kickass action film with a sensible and meaningful plot.

@Dev, if it clashes with dangal, then bring it on. Because dangal is megastar aamir khan’s movie and it will easily bulldoze any movie that comes on his way, even if it has so called shahrukh khan. So shut your mouth and better pray that it doesn’t clash with dangal storm.
