Aired at a time-slot that was once popular for family shows during the 90s, Satyamev Jayate has opened to a record-breaking 8.7 rating. The show was telecast on all Star channels, dubbed in various regional languages and also aired on DD National. The whole point was to get as many people as possible to watch it.
The impact of the show was huge on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook too.

REALLY AAMIR IS THE RECORD MACHINE AND I THINK THAT NO ONE EXCEPT AAMIR HAS SOME GREAT THOUGHTS ABOUT THE THINGS HAPPEN IN THE COUNTRY, SO HE IS A TRUE HERO OF THE INDIAN BOLLYWOOD INDUSTRY, OTHERWISE ITS NOT A FUN SHOW, BUT IT HAVE SOME GREAT IMPACTS ON THE PEOPLE AS WELL.

Nothing new in concept but Aamir khan has great brand value so that it will recieved more TRP than other shows.
The show was amzing.Concept is brillient.We as a Doctor facing these problems in our daily working.There are lot of issues…about Doctors …about PCPNDT act…. about govt ignorence behind it…!But I like Aamirs thought process to overcome it.We …and only we… evey Indian can make the change….!Everybody should change his/her attitude..! Dont think about govt..law…profit…money…social stigma…..!Its high time that eveybody should change the thought.Ultimately our next generation is going to suffer…!Many many thanks to Aamir to telecast such issue…!After waching this episode I am sure at least there will be some hasitation in people who is involved in female foeticide.Once again Thanks Aamir…!
one thing is more admirable that he has told on screen that 1 re. per sms will be charged for all operators and all the amount will be sent for charity, that is transparency.

The show is fantastic and Aamir was nice in it. Simple, genuine and not loud. Crying is natural because of the issue being discussed. He had moist eyes but did not cry out or break down. No overdoing. This something I appreciate a lot.
Those who think ”any Khan” could have done this show. Dear friends this show was conceptualised by Aamir only with his friend Satyajit Bhatkal! Even the films you say anyone could have done, their scripts are re-written as per Aamir’s suggestions only! No other star could have dared to touch such a show or produce it! No one could have highlighted issues so brilliantly without overpowering the frame himself. No one has the credibility that Aamir Khan has.
I am proud of him for making such a show. It’s a refreshing change from usual saas bahu, song and dance crap. A reality show which was real to the core!
No wonder it created mania as all trending topics everywhere were Aamir Khan and Satyamev Jayate.
What I liked best was that they are also raising donations for NGOs working on the issue and taking public reactions which will be shown in a follow up to each episode. They did not just talk.
After a long time comes a show, which the whole family can watch and discuss, which touches both mind and heart. Only Aamir Khan does it – every time!
TRPs used to be high in early 2000s as the number of channels were low,there was no Youtube,there were no Iptv,Tata Sky recording systems,etc.
A TRP of 8.7 presently is like diamond, it is equivalent to 25 TRP in early 2000s and 18-20TRP in mid 2000s.
If Satyamev Jayate TRP is 8.7 ,thn it is a record breaker by a huge margin.
Aamir is the The Emperor of Bollywood. Content is very good and informative. Satyamave Jayate.

SRK’s “Always kabhi Kabhi” ( What…some one said that they have never heard of the movie) sank without a trace
Asoka, One 2 ka 4 , Phir bhi dil hai hindustani and many such films made by Shahrukh have badly butchered by the audience..
Lets not even start talking about Ra One…..!
