The teaser poster of Sarbjit, a film based on the life of Sarbjit Singh, has been released. The film went on floors today. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Sandeep Singh, the film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha.
Sarbjit will be directed by Omung Kumar, who last directed Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead.

Poster is quite intense and gritty . I am waiting for Sarbjit . Randeep Hooda is a brilliant actor and he has shown his class in movies like OUATIM, Jannat 2 and Highway . His performances were also appreciated in Main Aur Charles and Rang Rasiya . Even though Jazbaa was a Box Office Failure Aishwarya is getting movies . She will have 2 movies in 2016 – Sarabjit and ADHM . Omung Kumar disappointed in Mary Kom . The screenplay and the content could have been better because it was a Biopic on Boxing World Champion – MC Mary Kom . Priyanka was good but not outstanding because there were loopholes in the script . I hope this time OK does his homework thoroughly . Without seeing the trailer i can say with my eyes closed that this movie will be banned in Pakistan . I am happy when Bollywood tries to make different kind of subjects . It is scheduled to release in the month of May . I hope this movie gets its due at the Box Office just like Mary Kom . 2016 is the year of Biopics with movies like – Azhar, MS Dhoni, Dangal and Sarabjit . I am not sure but Sultan is also a Biopic on Sultan Ali Khan who was a 3 time state champion wrestler of Haryana . @ Indicine Please clarify my last sentence . As on 6th May , captain america will come.. But it will be destroyed by Azhar storm on 13th May 2016.. And on 27th May X-men is coming, but Azhar Biopic will be still be holding its screens..

Most of Ash movies these days features her in lead roles. Something for a while we have not seen girls from 40 upwards doing,that is playing lead roles. Credit to her despite a gap of 5 years but still getting confidence from some good producers as if she had been around all these while. Wish Irfan was in d movie! though Randeep has had a pretty successful decade n is good too so goodluck to him n rest of the crew.
Just read the truth about Srk’s donation to Chennai. He made the donation letter viral through his PR. Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha said they didn’t receive even 1 rupee from Shahrukh. What a shame.
