Sanjay Dutt’s plea for 6 months extra time adjourned till April 17

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court Of India agreed to hear Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s plea seeking more time to surrender in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

The court will hear Dutt’s plea for an extra 6 months time to complete all his pending movie projects including Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’.

TV channels have been reporting that, Dutt’s request is likely to be rejected by the court tomorrow as similar pleas of three other convicts, who had also asked for extra time surrender was rejected by the Supreme Court.

  • First of all this petition should not have been admitted by the SC. Having admitted it should have been heard today itself and dismissed. Why SC is postponing to tomorrow. As the stakes involved as per dutt is 300 crores are SC judges are expecting something from him
