Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his jail sentence in the arms case related to the 1993 Mumbai blasts, will be released from Pune’s Yerwada jail on February 27.
The actor was convicted by the Supreme Court of India for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
Based on his conduct, the jail authorities have decided to cut his punishment period and release him before the scheduled release date.
The Apex Court had convicted Dutt under the Arms Act for possessing weapons and sentenced him to six years in jail. He had spent about 18 months behind bars earlier and is now serving his remaining 42-month jail term.
For various personal reasons, the actor has been out on parole and furlough a few times since May 2013.

acoording to boi footfalls have again dropped by 5% and last year was below 2012 but on the other hand business has grown so much in last 5yrs and has remained almost the same level in last2yrs.ticket prices have seen only a minor jump. And the screen count is just going on increasing rapidly every year
Also on twitter youtube fb the trends or views that films get have also seen a major jump. And the craze of bollywood among the people around me is same as before
So how and why the footfall has fallen that too below 2012 number? ?.
I think boi has completely lost it and is posting wrong figures about footfalls.
it is just not logically possible that in the current scenario and all the factors mentioned footfalls will b on a free fall

Truth of the matter (which I felt anyway) is that they are a bunch of attention seekers who has been doing this for a long time bashing the collections of stars they don’t like and glorifying their favorites. I haven’t yet seen a day without grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes at their site and one wonders how someone who can’t even sort out their silly mistakes can provide us the accurate BO figures and be ‘one the premier BO trade sites in the world’ as they boasts in their site. Just copying the style of BoxOfficeMojo reporting won’t make them also a premier lol.
Moreover, their site is more often than not in a mess with links not working and this and that…so my question is if they are the true professionals they claim to be, why not sort out the petty issues of their site first properly before proclaiming big things.
@ arjun- the craze of bollywood around you is not whole india. nowdays most movies are making for multiplex audience and buisness went down because no aamir, hrithik release, ajay had one release which did ok business, ranbir disapointed so how can you say footfalls are not went down. in my view they should make more mass movies for single screen audience instead of cheap multiplex rom com movies.

The craze of bollywood films is really going down.
The craze that ETT, Bodyguard, Ra. one had before release no one has been able to match that craze in recent years. May be because with every big film bollywood is dissapointing audience.

He got a 6 year punishment and he’ll complete only 5 years punishment that too with so many paroles and then they reduced his punishment by 1 whole year!
