Filmmaker Kabir Khan has hailed Salman Khan’s performance in the upcoming film ‘Tubelight’. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director said the megastar plays a very different and challenging role in the film.
“Salman has just pushed the boundaries in terms of craft and acting in this film. He plays a different and challenging kind of role” Kabir said.
Kabir also said he enjoyed working with both Sohail and Salman.
“They both are brothers and obviously they love each other a lot, so it was easy for me. As a director, if I have to establish that there is love between two brothers, then I get to see that very easily between Sohail and Salman because of their body language and their reactions with each other. I really enjoyed working with both of them”
‘Tubelight’ is scheduled to release in theatres on June 23. The film hopes to take advantage of the extended weekend for Eid.

Before people start barking, its clearly mentioned in the credits that its partially based on “little boy” so dont bark copy copy.. Salman always give credit where its due.. and little boy was Flop in hwood but Tubelight will do minimum 300cr in india..

Salman khan is mentally weak man and his brother in film (sohil khan) take care of him. But one day war begins and he (sohil khan) have to go for that but didn’t come back after some day salman khan go for his search. At army camp one of incharge told they don’t have any information about his brother. Then he gets dipressed and after the show of magician (SRK) he tell every things about his brother and SRK told him to find him in china.
Then salman khans story in china begins, he met small boy who at starting fights with him and slowly slowy they becames good friend. Then small boy take him to his home where he met zhu zhu and the next morning salman khan and that small boy go for search. But some days after zhu zhu also come there with some information about his brother ( sohil khan ) but as salman khan comes china illegally he find trouble that time zhu zhu and small boy helps him and becoz of salman khans innocent zhu zhu gets in one sided love with salman khan…

Can’t understand why the hell haters trolling Salman after the grand success of bahubali 2. If you are comparing Salman movies BO COLLECTION with Bahubali then u guys should not ignore other major factors.
Bahubali took almost 8 years to complete & the lead dedicated 5 years of his life for this. It backed by a budget of 250cr & 2000 individual,Last but not the least it was DIRECTED by greatest director in the history of Indian cinema SS RAJMOULI. Salman is doing 3 movies per 2year with a budget of less than 100cr with medicore director, than how can you guys compare Salman movies with bahubali.I strongly recommend If Salman will get half of what bahubali lead got than he will almost double the collection.
I think insecure fan base shouldn’t target Salman they should support him, Because they are well aware of the fact that only Salman can save bollywood.
As a fan a sincere request to Salman please don’t take stardom as granted pick the best director. In bollywood only kabir khan deserve Salman. Kabir & Salman combo can challenge bahubali worldwide collection. Bahubali record is safe for 4-5 years from now no doubt but in coming years bollywood going to beat it I believe.
Nothing to take away from prabhas. He is the new box office emperor of India after Rajnikant, Salman & Amir. As bahubali I can’t imagine a second person except PRABHAS. He is a immensely talented mass hero. Bahubali just set the base of his stardom a long way to go for him.
Right now it’s a tight slap on the face of those who were making fun of South movies. Even though I am a North Indian I am a huge fan of tollywood but sorry to say I am not a fan of bollywood. I watch only Salman & Amir movies in big screen, I find other actor movies damn boring in big screen.
I respect Salman’s stardom but please Kabir stop making fun of us by saying that he pushed acting boundaries…his onscreen charisma doesn’t mean that he’s a good actor. Nawazuddin pushed acting boundaries, Irrfan did it, Aamir did it and to some extent SRK did it, but don’t include Salman with powerful performers.
