Sultan is one of the biggest films of 2016 and the makers recently re-confirmed that the film will release in theatres during the Eid weekend next year.
The director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar, posted a few inside pictures from the sets of Sultan. The construction of the humongous set is still in progress, but the second schedule is expected to begin here in a few days from now.
The first schedule was wrapped up earlier this month.
Sultan stars Salman Khan in the lead. The superstar will be playing the role of a wrestler. The female lead hasn’t been finalised.

Only dangal will be highest grosser of 2016. Dangal will open 400 Cr club in India and 1000 Cr worldwide. No chance for sultan. It will be hit or superhit but certainly not highest grosser of the year because next year the biggest megastar and king of Bollywood aamir khan is returning after 2 years. So no chance for any movie to come even close to the ultimate megastar aamir khan’s movie. Aamir khan the true megastar will shatter all records and rule box office.

I think Sultan is going to be released in eid solo, srk confirmed that they will never release it if Sultan will be ready during eid which is good for both with mixed review Sultan will definitely cross 250cr because Salman is the only one star in bollywood whose masala movies always have done magic in box office without any content as it is not strictly restricted to family genre only like prdp, but wom positive will definitely boost the collection may be 1st 350cr movie of bollywood so best wishes to bhai for SULTAN

Vikas Bahl did Chillar Party and Queen and after that he did Shaandar. so Rahul Dholakia will also go that way. we can’t justify any film depend upon trailer. after seeing trailer of PK and BB all srk fans said that these are 150 crs movie but did double of that. HNY and Dilwale did only half of what SRK fans predicted after watching trailer.
Just realize despite srk faces. So much negativity around,ban on 5 states,boycotting movie,negative critics reviews,low screens 2600,overseas 650screens,weak script,intolerence comment,political parties against srk and movie like bjp,RSS,bajrangdal,shivsena,,clash with bm and star wars and finally srk’s hater still still still they have failed to bring srk down…dilwale is ruling the world like before as srk is meant for the records and his movie breaking every possible records in overseas and is hit in India….now think what srk’s Raees does if sultan will clash with it…..just imagine

Bajirao Mastani is the third film to cross 50 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and is still running strong though won’t catch the two Salman Khan starrers Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The 65 crore nett figure is a possibility but not 70 crore. The top ten grossers in Mumbai circuit at present are as follows.
1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan – 90.77 crore
2. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – 70.79 crore
3. Bajirao Mastani – 51 crore apprx (13 days)
4. ABCD 2 – 38.52 crore
5. Tanu Weds Manu Returns – 37.08 crore
6. Welcome Back – 33.88 crore
7. Dilwale – 32 crore apprx (13 days)

Dilwale has disappointed in Mumbai circuit and stands in sixth place at the moment and best case scenario is a fourth place finish but business will remain below 40 crore nett..
Raees is directed by critically acclaimed director Rahul_Dholakia while Sultan is directed by audinary director Ali Abbas Jafar.Let’s hope for the best but i do feel if YRF and RED_Chillis&EXCEL ENT.shares equal no.of screens then RAEES will be the winner.

The result of the clash between dilwale and Bajirao should be worrying for bhai more than srk since bhai has been churning one crap after another and audiences is becoming more choosy and smart so the non actor may be finally forced to learn acting(which looks difficult)
Raees is directed by National award winner Rahul dholakia n he took 10yr to complete script n it was his dream project Raees v/s Sultan isn’t content v/s stardorm its superstardorm v/s stardorm
But I don’t trust Yrf they might postponed by saying lots of never seen before VFX to be done
