Salman Khan’s home production banner Salman Khan Films’ first release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at domestic box office.
Now, in an attempt to make the second film as successful as the first, Salman, who has been shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in Karjat, is giving all his personal attention to everything related to Hero.
He has been attending meetings on the sets of the family drama itself. The key marketing members of Salman Khan Films and Eros International are visiting Karjat regularly to discuss marketing strategies with Salman about the film as he doesn’t get much time to travel due to his packed schedule.
“Salman is not just launching the careers of Sooraj and Athiya by making a film for them but he is also supervising each and every department of filmmaking and marketing for Hero. He is presently shooting non-stop for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Karjat and in whatever free time he is getting between the shots he is only discussing the marketing strategies of Hero” a source close to the film said.
Salman is launching Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty through this film and he wants to leave no stone unturned to make their debut films successful.
“The actor has taken Sooraj completely under his wings and has monitored everything, right from grooming, editing the film, marketing to presenting the newcomers appropriately. Salman is looking into everything and making sure everything goes well” the source added.
Hero is the remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 hit film starring Jackie Shroff. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the remake is slated to release on 11th September.

Superb news for All Salman fans that BB overseas collection is now 26 million. So it has broken 3I record. Now 3 rd highest grosser in overseas. Practically no Salman fan or any other fan thought that Salman film can break the 3i figure overseas before SRK. Outstanding achievement.
PK first phase collection was also 26.5 million $ and BB also ended its first run near about that figure.
So in all probability we can say BB is neck to neck with PK worldwide.

Salman is credited for launching careers of several people in the Bollywood industry but out of those the ones who had ‘real talent’ succeeded, examples like himesh, sajid-wajid, sonakshi (Katrina is an exception, she is regarded as a bad & a dumb actress but she is easily one of the best dancers among the top actresses , is known to be very hard working & has that great feminine grace about her in everything she does and of course she is extremely beautiful) and the others who didn’t just faded away (zarine khan & sneha ullal , two beauties with lesser talents and of course the most likely one to follow their suite is our very own arjun kapoor who is lovingly & diplomatically considered by many as the most ‘talentless actor’ of this century :D) .
He is the real ‘bade dilwala’ when it comes to supporting, promoting or helping so many folks in the industry, I would rather want him to support & encourage the struggling talented artists from humbler backgrounds rather than supporting talentless & privileged namoona heirs like arjun or sooraj etc, I always felt that he should have supported, encouraged & mentored guys like ritesh deshmukh or shreyas or sharman who are gifted with some great acting abilities , I would like to see all of them in the ‘ no entry’ sequel in case if the movie materialises, it would be one hell of a combination!
