Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will take on Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and acclaimed Tamil actor Dhanush at the box office during Eid next month.
While Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is scheduled to get a massive release all over India, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ and Dhanush’s ’Maari’ will also release worldwide on July 17.
Director Koratala Siva has confirmed that ‘Srimanthudu’ will release on the same day.
“We had zeroed in on July 17 as release date long back. There won’t be any changes. We have one have week of patchwork left, and once we’re done, we will unveil the audio towards the end of this month” Siva said.
Meanwhile, the makers of Dhanush’s ‘Maari’, directed by Balaji Mohan, have also finalised July 17 as the release date.
Trade analyst Trinath says the clash between the three films will make it tough for theatre owners to allocate screens.
“All these films feature stars who demand good number of screens for wide release. However, it will be extremely tough for theatre owners to allocate screens for all the three films,” Trinath told IANS.
To make things worse, S.S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’, touted as the costliest Indian film of all time, releases in theatres a week before the three films. If that film gets a good response, exhibitors will have to retain shows of the film in the second week too.
No Hindi director can even think of clashing with Salman today. If they do, their film will be a disaster. But noone is afraid of Srk. Bajirao Mastani will smash Dilwale just like Ajay Devgn’s SOS defeated Srk’s JTHJ in 2012.

Hahahahaa they cant compete with salman it wil b impossible for them. Mahesh babu has market only in Telugu e. And dhanush has mariet only in tamil nadu. Even mahesh is a Telugu super star he cant compete with salman in Hyderabad. And tamilnadu is never a salman market. Mahesh film may collect 40 cr but Bajrangi Bhaijaan wil collect more than 400 cr worldwide. So its not a clash
When it comes to screens bajrangi bhaijaan wil not lose any screens bcoz in telugu states salman movies generally release in 100 screens so it may affect around 20 screens. And in tamil nadu we all knw hindi movies play less.

Mahesh babu is huge star in south. He and dhanush movie will affect Hyderabad, Bangalore, manglore, chennai, kochi like big collection cities especially Hyderabad and Bangalore.

sman fans don’t know who is mahesh/dhanush.but we knew who are they ?mahesh is one whose film bhai copied in bhojpuri as ‘wanted’ and this film is the reason why bhai existed in Bollywood till noe,otherwise bhai would have become.e another Harman baweja till now,thanks to south films and copy master director prabhu deva.

I want Bajrangi Bhaijaan to be a flop and earn even less than 99cr. July 2015 will be interesting. 3 telugu biggies Kick 2, Srimanthudu and Bahubali will be releasing in the same period and even 2 Hollywood biggies Ant Man (17th July) and Mission Imjpossible 5 (31st July) will be releasing and not only this much but even a tamil biggie Maari will be releasing on 17th July. Now you can think how much business will Bajrangi Bhaijaan will do. And co-incidentally all the films are big releases and have big stars: Bahubali- Prabhas, Tammana, Anushka, Rana. Kick 2: Ravi Teja. Srimanthadu- Mahesh Babu, Shruti Hassan. Maari- Dhanush, Kajal Aggarwal.
