Arbaaz Khan, who makes his directorial debut this week with Dabangg 2, describes his brother Salman Khan as the most bankable actor today.
“Not only from a director’s point of view, but Salman is a star for everybody.. he is the most bankable actor currently,” said Arbaaz during one of the many promotional events for Dabangg 2.
“One can see it from his past few releases. He is clearly a winner and obviously way ahead of his contemporaries in terms of box-office collection”
When asked about the pressure of directing the second Dabangg film, Arbaaz said “Pressure is there as it’s (film industry) a very competitive line with huge fan following for Bollywood. So whether it’s the first film, second film or third film, everyone expects the film to be successful at the box office”
“As far as sequel is concerned, obviously there is a lot of expectation.. We only thought of making a soulful film with no business parameters involved” he added.
Arbaaz, who is also co-producing the film along with Malaika Arora, said actress-wife is returning in the sequel in her famous Munni avatar.
“Malaika is doing a brief appearance in one of the songs” he said.

When I was going for movie the only thing bothering me was name of Arbaaz as director and after movie I said why he did this, was there no director wiling to direct movie.. All other crew from story writer to stuntman has done fabulous job, and only person who lacked was Arbaaz.. There are many scenes which you will think that should have been shot beter.. So when you go for movie don’t expect anything from Arbaaz as director..
Story/script:
When you see sequel you always compare it with first, and mostly first part is beter but here script is very good, its engaging, its comic, its romantic and its emotional also.. All in all its full package, and I would say that its beter than previous part.. At no point movie draggs and at no point feel bored..
Performances:
Panday ji is out of the world.. Those who hate salman will love him in this role, he is one notch beter than previous and I bet that his uniqueness in this movie will give him filmfare.. Then Prakash Raj is outstanding like always and I liked him more than Singham here, his dialogues with Salman are fantabulous.. Sonakshi is also good.. Other cast has done good job also..
Music:-
Music was composed on same pattern as of Dabangg which was briliant but this time its not at that height.. Music is good but when it is compared with previous part its average.. Fevicol se is not even half of Munni and similarly Dagabaaz Re is not as good as Tere Mast Do Nain..
Action:-
Action scenes are awesome.. Entry of salman is amazing and his words “Swagat Ni karo ge aap hmara”, will make even haters to clap.. Dialogues are the USP of the movie..

Arbaaz.. Dont know why he
directed the movie, was there no one professional there, but tension not Panday Ji wont let you feel even once that direction is poor with his unique performance, Salute to Salman sir..
Boxoffice:
Movie will be loved by masses and at big centres also, opening records are nothing for Salman, but after watching the movie I get the feel that record of 3 idiots is almost over..
642-Crores in 4-films if you add 2-more for Dabanng-2 then it will be 842-crores collection only in India what Arbaaz is saying is 200% correct.
3 idiots has made a huge psychic impact on salman and srk fans. They just want this record to be broken which is strange. 3 idiots was one of the best all time entertainers. Let actors create new records so that Aamir khan can beat it with Dhoom 3 . Next christmas get ready for ‘Kaal Khan’ Aamirs character in DHoom 3. With an Imax release and probably highest number of screens Dhoom 3 will break records in a week.
And if somehow Aamir misses to reach the new target set by his dearest friend Salman let PK from Rajkumar Hirani come which has one of the best storylines in recent times …its better then 3 idiots. will be loved by everybody from masses and classes . Aamir is going to rule next 2 years for sure.

@salman he is certainly an ex factor but Salman’s phenomena has been up and down since he made his debut . Even earlier he was a big superstar and probably the biggest among khans . Then srk picked up popularity which lasted for 6-7 years and then Aamir after 2000 became Box office monster (bcoz critics and box office both loved his movies) during this period Salman was absent only after wanted his popularity picked up. I wish best of luck to salman khan and his fans for D2 but remember D3 is also arriving next year !
