Salman Khan’s line up for 2017 is confirmed. While most stars in the industry are battling clashes and struggling to find big dates for their films, Salman has taken two of the biggest weekends of 2017 – Christmas and Eid.
The superstar reunites with his ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director Kabir Khan for his Eid 2017 release ‘Tubelight’. He then moves on to work under the direction of his ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar for the sequel of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which has been titled ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The film will release during the biggest festive weekend of the year – Christmas.
While Salman has dominated the Eid weekend for the last 6 years with 6 blockbusters, he returns to the Christmas weekend 4 years after the success of ‘Dabangg 2’.
Interestingly, both his films in 2017 will be under directors who gave Salman his two 300 crore films so far.

Listen jokers, while ranting about the festive releases of Salman Khan, you are blatantly ignoring a universally known fact that in this decade — i.e. from 2011 up until today — your kingu is the one who has consistently released his films on Diwali, XMas and Eid. And your point out your dirty finger at Salman’s festive releases? LOL, a failed comedian!
Of 7 films he has done, your kingu has released only one film outside festive periods i.e. FAN (that also had two partial holidays and a well-received trailer in its favor), which flopped badly. Where was the star power of the biggest global star then? He even lost to an outsider kid Mowgli (WHO should be nothing before the GLOBAL star) at his home ground. Forget about the new kid in BM, who had badly thrashed the biggest global star. Kyun, Mirchi lagi now?

Before the release, you would applaud it to be content rich, for it’s class director, for YRF banner, for its well-received trailer and for his dedication to his fans. You would tip it to be a super hit or a BB. When flopped, suddenly call it an off-beat film? ROFL! Masters of excuses!
Well, FAN is no way an off-beat film. It was a commercial film, although not a very massy film! Indicine has, too, again and again said it. It has actions, romance, dialogue baazi, drama, foreign locations etc…..
Shooting actions stylishly in foreign locations do not make a film OFF-BEAT. Not having SONGS do not make a film OFF-BEAT. Bollywood songs are about romance. The makers saw no room to put any songs in the film, unless Aryan and Gauravv were coupled/ pitted with each other for songs romancing each other. LOL
If you still call it an off-beat film, we would call ETT an off-beat film with songs.
The theme of FAN is a mainstream tried and tested concept of a relationship between a superstar and a fan albeit presented in a different way.
In spite of the so-called negative factors or being an off-beat fan. FAN should have at least been a hit because he is the biggest global star with 3.7 Billion fans worldwide. C’mon, say it!
Those billion of fans would have watched FAN, no? Warna Woh Kaise Global Star Hua, the grandson of Einstein? Or all those are fans just written on Tissue Papers? Ha ha ha]
At least, Salman has released two films outside the festive periods in the similar span of time: Ready (Blockbuster) and Jai Ho (one holiday advantage it had also fell on Sunday) (above average or semi hit). Now, you compare. Or take some burnols!
The difference between Salman Khan and your kingu is that Salman successfully utilizes all these festive periods and earns Blockbusters, while your kingu totally wastes the golden periods for Hindi cinema mostly with mere hits or semi hits (that too controversial). Harsh truth, isn’t it? Swallow it although it’s bitter.
Oh poor & jealous soul, despite that your kingu has blocked a festive date in a distant future like XMas 2018, you are ranting for booking a release date in 2017? Shame on you!
And yes, SLB might not clash with Salman Khan for certainly he is intelligent enough to know that Salman Khan is no SRK who is just the biggest global star on paper; or just in paid interviews or news headlines. Salman Khan is a real deal!
Even he creates a clash between Padmavati and TZH, we are not insecure and afraid of it as we are a confident fan base. Nor will we call for destruction of SLB and bringing SLB on roads, unlike you shameless did during December 2015. We will pray all the best for the SLB film, too.

Srk fans forgot 2011 when their idol had 2 festive releases on Diwali & Christmas and could not beat even Salman’s non holiday Ready’s collection (Hindi version) in same year and they are wishing failure for both Salman’s movies in 2017 !!!!!! Lol
