Bigg Boss: Salman Khan to host the show once again
Mumbai, Jun 16 (TruthDive): Salman Khan, Bollywood actor will once again be seen presenting the sixth season of ‘Bigg Boss’, the celebrity reality show.
Sources reveal that the star has been contacted by the TV channel to bring him into Bigg Boss as host of the 6th season of the celebrity reality show. Salman Khan’s hosting has been beneficial for the channel and the show. So, the authorities wanted the magic man to be back on the host seat.
Although in the previous season, Salman Khan was less seen due to his busy schedules of his film shooting and his illness. Yet the show received popularity as his name was connected to the show. And also Sanjay Dutt’s co-hosting with Salman made the show interesting as well.
Reports say it isn’t sure if the show would be once again hosted by Salman and Sanjay Dutt. But, it says Salman Khan’s entry appears to be confirmed.
Bigg Boss’s next season’s location also returns back to its old site ‘Lonavala’. The show is moved to Lonavala from Karjat this time.
The last show’s location changed to Karjat as Veena Malik, Pakistani starlet and Begum Nawasish Ali, TV host’s inclusion to the show was threatened by Shiv Sena. Now the organizers of the show made it confirmed the show this time will be located in Lonavala. They will be airing the show from Oct 2012.
Sabu Cyril, well-known art designer has agreed to design the set. The lavish set of the show will use the best facilities and technology. The contestants will not be given any facilities like television, internet, phones, pen, paper, clocks and they will not have any connection with outside world.
The contestants and celebrities who would participate in the celebrity reality show have not been declared yet. Talks are going on to finalize the contestants. As before, foreigners too will be linked in to the show to make a good increase in the TRP of the show.
Salman Khan Super Directs Priyanka Chopra, Ram Charan Teja in Zanjeer Remake
Salman Khan, who is known to involve himself in every aspect of the production of a film that he is acting in, is reportedly taking a lot of interest in the Zanjeer remake, a film he doesn’t feature in.

The remake headlines Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra and Salman’s connection to the film, tenuous at best, has two possible angles.
The original Zanjeer (1973), a box-office hit headlining Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri, was scripted by Salman’s dad Salim Khan, and Salman possibly wants the remake to retain the punch that the original packed through tweaks to the script that make it contemporary.
Also, Teja, 26, is the son of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, a good friend of Salman.
Salman attended some of the ceremonies leading up to Teja’s June 14 wedding to Upasana Kamineni.
Earlier, it was reported that Salman has been looking out for Teja, sending him home cooked food and making sure he is comfortable in Mumbai.
In the remake, Teja reprises Amitabh’s role, and Priyanka, Jaya’s role. Teja is making his Bollywood debut with the film.
Salman met Teja and the remake director Apoorva Lakhia last week over dinner at his Galaxy Apartment pad, reports the Daily Bhaskar .
Salman’s suggestions to Lakhia included a more glamorous makeover for Priyanka, and possibly an item number by her.
It’s interesting that Priyanka recently said that she has no reservations in doing item numbers. She hasn’t done one as yet because nothing good has come her way.
Salman’s other suggestion was to lighten up Vijay’s role as an overly serious cop, by making Tejas sing and dance, much like Salman did in Wanted and Dabangg as a cop.
Salman told Teja, “You’re one of the best dancers in South Indian cinema. It would be silly not to have you sing and dance.”
Salman has earlier taken new actors under his wings and given them roles in his own films, but with Teja he is leveraging his considerable influence in the film industry.
