From his films struggling to get a initial on Friday morning to huge crowds outside his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai – a lot has changed for Salman Khan in the last 10 years or so.
With his career peaking with four back-to-back 200 crore grossers and Salman firmly establishing himself as not only the top star, but also the most loved superstar in the industry, the crowd outside his Bandra residence continues to swell with each passing day.

His father, Salim Khan, just posted about a incident when an actor (not named), who passed his house, called up to say he hasn’t seen a crowd like this before.
“An actor passed my house and saw a big crowd waiting for Salman he called me up to say he has not seen anything like this before” Salim Khan tweeted.
“I told him I have seen bigger crowds many times outside Rajesh Khannas house. He was the first and the last superstar of the millenium.”
“Anyone calling him a mediocre actor should know that no one can reach these heights unless he has something extraordinary to offer.”
“Frustration and bitterness are difficult to cure but carrying the same for such a long time is unheard of” Salim added.
Salman’s Eid release ‘Sultan’ is one of the biggest blockbusters of the his career.

@ hrithik at 6:24 pm : Lol. That was the reason I had said in my last comments that u may want to use it to any other situation.
But for me his tweet was only about Rajesh Khanna. Two reasons for that:
1. He said those sentences in continuity while talking of Rajesh Khanna’s stardom. He did not have to mention his name separately because if you see he was already talking about Rajesh Khanna in his previous sentence/tweet.
2. Second and the bigger reason is his last sentence where he talked about “such a long time” which makes sense more for Rajesh Khanna-Naseeruddin as they are such old actors.
And on social media too it is being called his response to Naseeruddin Shah’s comments regarding Rajesh sir.
I do not believe in judging some one else’s intentions and so I will go for what just looks quite obvious to me. But as I already said you may want to interpret it in a different way. No issues and nothing further to say on this.

@ hrithik at 9:30 pm: No brother I have nothing against a father defending his son. I genuinely believed he was actually defending Rajesh sir there so I shared it all. In fact I was very happy to see him defending the achievements and legacy of a legend like Rajesh sir.

What’s so wrong with Salim Sir?his talentless son spent inside the shades of Rajshri’s family drama and survived in multiactor movies in whole last two decades.at last stolen south scripts and depended on masala genre by adding good actors in those movies and stolen credits and survived at last,that’s his aukaat.
And this crowd is not even 1/4th of THE CROWD GATHERS IN FEONT OF MANNAT,at least lies have a limit,but Salim Sir exceeded all limits so shamelessly and keep supported his criminal/terrorist son as always.so no one is taking Salim SIR’S comments seriously anymore.
And my question to Salim SIR—-HGOTY would have happened ,if Prabhu Deva wouldn’t have come in time.answer is he too have now sat with arbaaz and sohail and would have played gilli-danda with them by adding to himself in tushar,zayed,harman’s legendary gang,rofl.
