Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns has just completed a good weekend at the box office. The film opened to a decent response on Friday (Rs 3.25 cr), picked up by around 15% on Saturday (3.75 cr) and had a good Sunday (4.5 cr as per early estimates).
Business on Sunday was slightly below expectations, as the reviews and word-of-mouth for the film was excellent.
SBAGR has faired poorly in Mysore and Bengal, where multiplex-targeted films tend to do well.
The sequel has already surpassed the lifetime collections of the first film (7.5 cr).
