Q. How many screens will be given Rustom, if it clashes with Mohenjo Daro? And what will be the lifetime collection of Housefull 3? – Sachin
A. It’s still too early to talk about both films, without watching the trailer. The impact of a trailer can make a huge difference, so all eyes will be on the theatrical trailer of Mohenjo Daro. If it manages to create the kind of impact that the trailer (not teaser) of Bajirao Mastani did, then it’ll have a major advantage.
Rustom is targeted mainly at the multiplex audience, while Mohenjo Daro will have wider pan-India appeal. The Hrithik Roshan film is certain to get 3000 plus screens, Rustom would probably settle for around 1600-1800. Single-screen release of Rustom will be very limited, it’s more due to the genre than the star.
Housefull 3 should finish somewhere around the total of the previous Housefull film (116 crore). There could be a difference of around 5 – 10% depending on whether Udta Punjab releases this week or not.

Custom will mark the grand return of joker boy to his famous 60 cr club, the club where he rightfully dominates since years and hasn’t moved out apart from last 2 years. MD will easily press joker boy’s Bandargiri antiques down to 60 cr club.
@Sunny gobarholic, Chustam is joker part 2. Remember how much joker collected? Only 19 cr life time. Your gobar is not even worth comparing the shoes of Greek God hrithik. Hrithik will thrash gobar left right and center. Your gobar’s franchise movie is struggling hard despite solo release on post IPL, having strong supporting cast, 3700 screens still opening only 15 cr and life time will be just a touch and go 100 cr. Shame on you. Don’t compare gobar to superstar hrithik Roshan. Wait for MD VS chustam clash, hrithik will end your gobar’s career.

back in diwali 2012 sos vs jthj clashed both films were clean hits and equally winners then why can’t history be repeated this independence day if rustom’s script is good which i am sure it will be it can be a clean-hit and mohenjo daro is undoubtedly will be epic that will also be super-hit.
@Moi Toi i know but i guess rustom film makers won’t postpone their film but hopefully if they do and release on sep 30 rustom can even go ahead for airlift and can emerge as super-hit but i guess it all depends on script if its good and even clash won’t effect it and mohenjo daro’s story seems marvelous i am sure it will be treat for audience this independence day to watch both films
mohenjo daro will obviously have more screens than rustom but i agree sometimes its not always about star-power but script power if script is good clash or solo release will not make any difference personally i agree with some ppl that rustom makers should postpone their film to sep 30 so that it can be benefited due to gandhi jayanti and can emerge big hit than airlift and housefull 3

admin u always let down akshay kumar. .akshay kumar had already given back to back superhits. . .if clash is happend and by chance if rustom wom is positive,then it hugely affect mohenjodaro. .hrithk darpok is coming after 2years,this flm has huge budget and if rustom hold positive wom then MD wont pas 140cr. .rustom on 85cr,the film wil be hit. .so tension is not for akki but for darpok hrithk. .admin rustom can do 120cr frm 2000screns if it hold positive wom. .hrthk flm wil be affected not rustom. .mind it. . .

Since UTV / Disney India are the producers of Mohenjo Daro they will definitely do their homework to get the bulk of Multiplex and Single screens. Hrithik has always been a top crowd puller in multiplexes and the genre of MD ensures there will be brilliant collections from Single screens as well.

Which loyal fanbase are you talking about? Since Rustom is targeting multiplexes I am very sorry to inform you that Akki doesn’t have a loyal fanbase in multiplexes. Apart from an Airlift which of his solo movies in the past 5-6 years made any significant business from the multiplexes? On the contrary Hrithik is always a favourite of multiplex audience and this time he is coming with a film that should be having pan-India appeal and with a runtime of under 2.30 hrs…all the best! Lol!

when haider was clashed with bang bang even though haider got positive review and good mow it was only able to collect 58..cr but with bad reviews and not so good mow bang bang able to collect 181…cr in india . so u can imagine what will happen to rustom if mohenjo daro get positive review and strong mow then rustom will collect 45-55 cr and 300+ cr for mohenjo daro
