A new poster of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Rustom’ is out. The actor is seen wearing a naval officer’s uniform and sporting a thin moustache. Esha Gupta, Arjan Bajwa and Ileana D’Cruz are also seen in the poster.
The poster once again highlights the ‘3 shots that shocked the nation’. The 3 shots are also highlighted on the title ‘Rustom’, with O embedded with three bullet shots.
Rustom releases in theatres on 12th August 2016. The film is scheduled to clash against Hrithik Roshan’s keenly-awaited film ‘Mohenjo Daro’.

My anticipation for Rustom is increasing day by day . This movie is inspired by real life incidents which makes it even more intriguing . Romantic Thriller genre looks different and exciting . It is great to see Akshay is maintaining the buzz before 5 months . I hope the clash between Mohenjo Daro and Rustom is averted as both the movies are looking highly promising, both have terrific actors and both the movies have 2 trusted names in Bollywood – Ashutosh Gowariker and Neeraj Pandey . There is no point in having a clash on a date which is not as big as Eid, Diwali and Christmas . Both the movies can do even better if they release solo . Both Akshay and Hrithik are close friends and neighbours so they might take a decision once the shooting of Mohenjo Daro is finished . I am damn sure even if the clash happens it will not be as ugly as SOS and JTHJ and Dilwale and BM . Eagerly waiting for Rustom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Akki is a great actor.. But doesn’t deserve a clash against a much awaited HR film… I am sure the content of Rustom will be good so it deserves a good clash-free date.
Well I think they are not shooting for the film. Just shooting for posters. Looks they are begging for the Independence day weekend. Dont know what is so special to that date that they are ready to clash with the costliest film of 2016 and hrithiks return after 2 years.
I feel now Mohenjo should move and give Akshay as he is pleading for Independence day. September 16 is vacant and 23 sept there is no release and 30th september its Rangoon which does not have that appeal as its coming from Vishal Bhardwaj. So can have atleast 2 open weeks and also another semi-open week. Hope they shift as for such big film Independence day period does not look that big.

I feel Akshay Kumar films are boring these days except Airlift which was a content driven film. Most of his movies have no story whatsoever. The story lines are non existent, they try to fill the time of the film with overacting and boring old skool dialogues etc. Tottaly boring if you ask me that’s why his movies struggle to gross 100 cr but I do really appreciate, there will be people out there like @sambudha and @babaji who likes to sit and watch boring rubish akki movies.

Akki is not pleading for that date…. he is just promoting his movie… he don’t need to plead for date like others in Bollywood cause akki told several times that we have only 52 Fridays in a calender year but movies r about 350 so clash is just unfortunate friend…..
