Director Rohit Shetty, who awaits the release of ‘Singham Returns’ next weekend, has expressed his desire to work with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan.
“It is my dream to work with Mr Bachchan. I want to do an action film with him. I have not really told him that I want to work with him in a full-fledged
film” Rohit said.
“Though I have worked with him in ‘Bol Bachchan’, I want to work with him again. I was in an awe of him,” he added.
The Golmaal Series director said that he has been following Big B since his childhood and has watched almost all his films. Deewar, Zanjeer and Amar Akbar and Anthony are his favourite Bachchan films.
“I used to go to the sets of his films with my dad (veteran stunt-master-actor M B Shetty) and observe him. I still get scared when he is around,” he told.
Besides Mr Bachchan, Rohit says he would like to work with Salman Khan too, but it has to be something as big as his film with Shahrukh Khan.
“I would love to do a film with Salman. But it has to be something big for us to come together, like how I and Shah Rukh Khan came together for ‘Chennai Express’. As of now there is nothing on hand”

Salman and Rohit combo will be good considering the genre Salman is working upon in recent years. As now Salman has turned into a masala entertainer and as far as Rohit is concerned, he doesn’t have anything to prove . His records itself say how successful he is in this genre as a director. So definitely if they will come together, it will be obviously a huge venture.
But I have a doubt in case of Amitabh, that whether Rohit will be able to convince Mr. Bachchan for the same, because Rohit is known as someone who always directs in light entertainers with a number of car chasing sequence and some mindless action. If we look into his movies, they are quite lacking of substance. But the life stage at which Big B is standing as of now, I don’t think that he will be convinced to be a part of a car chasing sequence or some mindless action series.
Let’s see, how successful Rohit will be, with his dream.

Yeah. Who will not like to work with the then Shahenshah of Bollywood and the current Shahenshah of Bollywood.
Salman is the current shahenshah for valid reasons. 5 back to back blockbusters, one semi-hit and again blockbuster!! 7 back to back 100 Crores grossers. Who can do this except Salman Khan, Thalaiva of Bollywood?
I have always said it would collect 240+ Crores. Still say this. Sometimes overconfidence has got me wrong. It’s fine.
Some Thakur fans like Chickrum, Sss Khan cum deleted comments badshah and Rotten Romance said it would not cross 170 Crores. Now, they have been saying it would cross Chennai Express. Actually,Actually, the train that the devil walks past dabanggly was Chennai Express. He showed that he doesn’t give a damn about Koyla Carrying Express by walking past throwing away his bicycle. Kick has beaten CE by a margin in its first week no matter what excuses you want to give. The fact is that Kick is riding mainly on Salman’s shoulder. Overall, Kick has less advantages than CE had.
Earlier Salman’s films used to face competition from smaller films. For example, during Wanted release and Bodyguard release. Outimd did damage CE collections in its first two days but later it was CE because WOM was bad for Outimd.
Besides, your inner sense does explain you why other films dare not clash with Salman’s but with SRK’s.
CE worked because of SRK coming into masala entertainer after OSO+ BB Director Rohit + Deepika + Salman’s first hug after their fight giving publicity to CE. That’s why it was only BB for SRK in four years. I won’t believe in thakur’s stardom and mettle until and unless HNY becomes BB. Meanwhile, hold on.
The Release in Eid Holiday was made big by Salman in 2008. Nobody cared about the potential of the Eid Holiday before he did.

Finally, Salman Ek Lambay Race Ka Gudaa Hai, whereas Sarkar is a house cart that needs Gudi Deepika and Gudaa Rohit Shetty. Without them, this house cart i.e. sarkar can’t move. Lol!
On a serious note, Teesmaar Khan’s Ocean’s 11 remake edited by Joker Kunder won’t be able to go past 160 Crores even if it is released in 10,000 Screens. But the exhibitors do not have faith in the stardom of the sarkar of 3.7 Billions fans worldwide. So, I don’t think it will have that many screen space for a film of a fading star. Besides, hardly will anybody be watching a crap film after the story driven films like Marykom and Haider and a Hollywood level film like Bang Bang. Who will like to eat baasi tarkari (rotten veges) after the fresh ones?

Dubai developers eyeing to sell their projects to global investors are back in the branding business.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is the hot favourite and is once again involved in a real estate project in the UAE. This time it’s in Dubai.
The actor will be in Dubai on Wednesday to launch the Dh2.3-billion project in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Parvez Khan, Chairman, Pacific Ventures, told Emirates 24|7.
The actor, who owns a villa on Palm Jumeirah, has been involved in the UAE realty scene since 2008 when he launched the “Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) Boulevard” in Ras Al Khaimah.
Last year, Pacific Ventures got Sohail Khan, the brother of Salman Khan, to market their Burj Pacific tower in Downtown Dubai.
In June, Danube Properties, a subsidiary of Danube Group, named Sunil Gavaskar, Indian cricket legend, as their brand ambassador for Dreamz by Danube project in Al Furjan.
In the past, Deepika Padukone and Omar Sharif have endorsed projects in Dubai and Ajman, respectively. Sporting legends Boris Becker, Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher too have had towers named after them in Dubai.

Parvez Khan, however, says SRK is not merely the brand ambassador, but is involved in the designing aspect of the project.
“He has given inputs in designing of the project… he is the one who told us to launch two-bed ‘affordable luxury’ townhouses in our project. He is also involved in the designing the landscaping for the project.”

Gavaskar has bought a townhouse in the Danube project, while Sohail Khan has bought an apartment in the tower.
Parvez Khan says Shah Rukh does intend to buy a townhouse in Royal Estates and keep it as an investment for future.
The development consists of 400 townhouses, one commercial tower and between 800 and 900 residential apartments.
The launch price for units will start from Dh840 per square feet.
Phase one of the project, which comprises 200 townhouses and a residential tower of nearly 200 units, will be delivered during the first quarter of 2016.f
