Rockstar releases today and the curiosity the film has generated is tremendous. Imtiaz Ali, the director behind critically acclaimed and commercially successful films like Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal, returns! This time with Ranbir Kapoor and a fresh new face from America, the model turned actress Nargis Fakhri.
We had a poll recently on our Facebook page, for the most awaited film of November 2011. Rockstar easily won it by a huge margin with about 3 times the votes!
Apart from the huge interest, the dwindling collections of Ra One, is also likely to help Rockstar which should be the first choice this week.

- Day 1 – 9 crores

- Week 1 Total – 42 crores
- Final – 70 crores
IF BAD (negative word-of-mouth)
- Day 1 – 8 crores
- Weekend – 23 crores
- Weekdays – 10 crores
- Week 1 Total – 33 crores

Ranbir Kapoor’s last film – Anjaana Anjaani did reasonably well at the box office, but a big hit with Rockstar will reaffirm his position as one of the Top 5 stars in Bollywood. He doesn’t have a 100 crore grosser yet and if Rockstar turns out to be a well-made film, it could well push him into the big league!

i was quite amazed while i watched ranbir giving expression like real rock star while he sing and play guitar in movie,great job by ranbir as i am fan of hardrock music so for me this movie was damn rock.and yes nargis was awsome too.

Imtiaz Ali is awesome director i watch all his movies but this time i think he done a good job.
But not up to the mark we can called this not a rockstar its a crazy movie about love bird.
Becoz ending scene was worse u can say because after all love should win.
