Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri’s Banjo to go on floors in Jan 2016

Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri’s Banjo, directed by Ravi Jadhav, is all set to go on floors this month (January 2016).

The musical drama, which reflects the essence of Marathi culture, will be produced by Eros International – the makers who delivered biggies like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bajirao Mastani in 2015.

“Dir Ravi Jadhav gifts me a BANJO to practice. Super Music by my buddies Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani #JanShoot” Riteish tweeted.

The film is scheduled to release in the second half of 2016.

  • Wow mararathi cinema rocks , Ravi jadhav is very good director & he has all films are Romantic . Maharashtrian culture is the best & Bollywood industry is only because of Maharashtrian .
All Maharashtrian user on indicine should watch Natsamrat film & u will get cinematic experience & Nana Patekar powerful acting .

  • 2016 is look alike 2004 because Fan- the movie will remind us of cult classic movie veer-zara and Raees will remind us of evergreen entertain movie Main hoon na..

  • @Rajesh Kulkarni..
I love marathi culture and has huge admiration for what marathis has done for the country.
But saying Bollywood is only because of maharashtrian is bit unfair on contribution from other cultures.
