Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been chosen as the Indian Brand Ambassador for Switzerland Tourism. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ star had recently visited Switzerland and posted quite a pictures on his Instagram page.
“I had such a great time on my trip to Switzerland this summer! I did some crazy things like sky diving and paragliding. Now that I am the official Brand Ambassador of Switzerland Tourism, I am just raring to go back in the winter and see what it looks like in the snow. I can’t wait to try the slopes of St. Moritz and Titlis Engelberg. It will be so much fun” Ranveer said.
From wakeboarding on Lake Zurich to ski jumps at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, tobogganing on Mt. Pilatus, paragliding and skydiving in Interlaken, Ranveer is said to have tried them all. But adventure was just one of his holiday thrills.
“Being a versatile energetic and adventurous personality, Ranveer explored and enjoyed all that Switzerland has to offer. His passion and excitement for the country is what compelled us to request him if he would take on the mantle of Brand Ambassador to which he enthusiastically agreed” Claudio Zemp, Director – India, Switzerland Tourism added.
“Switzerland is a perfect place for a complete holiday experience that will leave you spellbound for days. Tourists look for a blend of sightseeing, relaxation and adventure together with easily available accommodation and good food and welcoming hosts” Ritu Sharma, Deputy Director, Switzerland Tourism India, said.
Ranveer awaits the release of his next film ‘Befikre’ which has also been shot in Europe (Paris, France).

Career of both ranbir and ranveer are shaping up well , but ranveer still has to deliver something as big as yjhd , yes bm was big hit but that was more due to slb , mega budget, deepika while yjhd was completely ranbir show ,not only he carried that film on his shoulders and but he also ended up outshining every lead actors
Varun and tiger might become big stars but they are not good actors , they just can’t move you with their acting talent

Had srk/salman/aamir been the brand ambassador of swiss then untill now bhakts would have made it a national issue like “srk/salman/aamir are antinational and have no patriotism and they want to become ambassador of swiss and they do not have time for india’s tourism”.
