Rani plays prostitute in LCMD and Saawariya

Now at the apparent peak of her career, Rani Mukerjee has taken the portrayal of bitter reality in films very seriously. She is playing middle class girl who takes on to prostitution in Yash Raj?s Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. The film is directed by Pradeep Sarkar. Sanjay Leela Bhansali?s Saawariya will also feature Rani in the role of a prostitute.
