Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, whose health has become a topic of discussion for the entire nation, is slowly but steadily recovering at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore. Sources say, the actor health has shown huge improvement and he will be discharged on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Once discharged, Rajni won’t return to India immediately. He is expected to spend a few more days in Singapore, go through further check-ups and then return to India. His return, most likely in early July, is expected to be a huge occasion in Tamilnadu and the actor is expected to receive a huge welcome.
Arguably the biggest superstar in India, Rajnikanth fell ill during the first day shoot of his next film Rana, which also stars Deepika Padukone. The shooting of the mega-budget film has been kept on hold and will resume once the actor completely recuperates from his health condition.
When contacted, Rana director K.S. Ravikumar said, the film will be shot in less than 8 months and there will be no changes to the script. What’s more Rajnikanth will be performing all the stunts himself. A.R Rahman has also composed 6 songs for Rana.
