The teaser of superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ was unveiled earlier today and the teaser has already garnered 2.2 million views and 187,000 likes in less than 10 hours.
The minute-long teaser introduces viewers to Rajinikanth’s character Kabali, who goes on to say that he is no stereotypical gangster, in his typical hard-hitting style which will be received with whistles in theatres. His inimitable laugh is also one of the highlights of the teaser.
Towards the end of teaser, there’s a shot of Rajnikanth from the 70s, where the superstar is seen walking out of a restaurant.
Rajinikanth plays an ageing don in the film. The Pa. Ranjith directed gangster film also stars Radhika Apte, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh and Ritwika.
In Bollywood, the most liked trailer is Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN which has 176,629 likes. Rajnikanth’s Kabali teaser has already surpassed that in less than 10 hours.
The first Sultan teaser, which was unveiled about 20 days ago, currently has 116,609 views.

@A.Y.F. : you are absolutely right he is just so overated. He lacks versatility. Look at his excuse for not playing Drishyam. When geniuses like Mohanlal and Kamal Hassan did the role comfortably he was scared being beaten up. Is that a quality of a hyped superstar? He prefers doing masala craps.

u said azhar content will not be extra-ordinary ! So ur choice of films is quite bad i must say– u said Kapoor and sons looks promising even though it was same routine rom-com with family sub-plot.. And the film was itself quite ordinary.. And u rated it 4 stars just becoz u love non-actor sid n crap dharma produvtion films.. The main reason it become a HIT n opened 6cr was Alia Bhatt.. Give her due credit instead of starting to shout on roof-tops abt elusive giant leaps taken by non-actors with crap heroine dependent rom-coms..
Start respecting film Azhar n give it 3.5 stars as i m sure it will b better than likes of Ki n Ka, crap(poor) and sons and ur other 3rd rate rom-coms which u like ..

Only that I don’t want it to be released on Diwali. It’s either going to clash wit Salman next or Ajays Sons of Sardar. Automatically it will eat up many chunks of its business. Salman is the biggest thing in the industry now while Ajay as usual is a predator when it comes to Diwali release. Christmas and Eid will be very nice or independnce day. Even though Khiladi sir has shown with or WIthout holidays he can deliver 100 crores.
Well i trust on directors rather then actors their like shankar murugadoss ss rajamouli they are fantastic story tellars . i can understand tht how south people love rajni even i like his style in sivaji n robot but it is also true tht without great director rakini latest filn bore like linga n kochadiyaan as far as this film is concern nothing new except rajni real age . their is an issue their in south tht they manipulate figure and collection by pr agency real figure come after release
