Earlier this morning, we posted tweets of Ritesh Sidhwani, which created a lot confusion not just in our comments section, but also on Twitter.
The producer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees had tweeted “Speculation on #Raees release date! It all ends this Eid.. Chalo time for me to take a dip in the warm waters of #tenerife”
A lot of people felt that the tweet meant that Ritesh Sidhwani would have more news about the release date of ‘Raees’ during Eid this year. But if Excel Entertainment had to change the release date of the film, why would they wait until Eid this year?
To clear the confusion, Sidhwani has once again tweeted that ‘Raees’ will in fact release during Eid 2016m confirming the clash between Salman Khan and SRK.
“My timeline tells me a lot of confusion on my last tweet about Raees release date. Let me clarify.. We had announced in February that we will be releasing our film on EID 2016 & we are on schedule to release it as planned..”
Ritesh also announced that he has a surprise in store for ‘Raees fans’ (read SRK fans) during Eid this year.
“And a little surprise for all Raees fans this EID.. chalo ho Gaya sab confusion clear” he tweeted.
There you go then, Raees vs Sultan confirmed for theatrical release on July 1st 2016 (the Friday before Eid).
It will be the biggest clash in recent history, but I still believe one of them will back out. Both will surely lose at least decent amount of money no matter who wins the clash. Furthermore, there’s more than a year left before Eid 2016. It creates massive buzz and publicity, but it will be most liklikely averted eventually.
I would love to see this clash between two of the biggest superstars, but it doesn’t make sense from business point of view.
if any worst scenario appears & movie gonna clash den remember yrf know very well how to market his movie & that absolutely applied for Srk too but the real advantage for yrf is they r very smart in getting more screen & that will decide the winner….remember fan is d next movie coming for yrf so they gonna negotiate with the distributers if u run sultan den only u will get d rights of Fan…..quit clever tactics but very effective….Srk gonna push himself back with his own hand….

Difference between PK and dhoom 3 again in (one year) = nearly nearly 75 crores.
So this so-called “big” banner was easily thrashed by VVC films in just one year. The success of Ek tha tiger belongs to Salman and Kabir khan, and the success of chennai express belongs to SRK and Rohit shetty. Banner plays little role if the marketing, star-cast and trailer works right.
