Shah Rukh Khan’s Raaes has a lead of Rs 40 crore over Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil at the end of the 2nd weekend at the domestic box office. After comprehensively beating Kaabil over the first extended weekend, Kaabil finally managed to catch upto Raees on Friday and surpassed the collections of the film on Saturday and Sunday.
Raees has collected close to 12 crore in the second weekend, while Kaabil has collected Rs 13 crore.
We would also like to mention here that trade-analyst Komal Nahta in Film Information has quoted the first extended week (9 days) of Kaabil (Hindi) at Rs 70.05 crore and Raees at 108.30 crore, which is a little lower than our figures for both films in the first 9 days.
As far as the lifetime business of the two films is concerned, Kaabil is likely to finish closer to the 100 crore mark, while Raees will finish in the 135 crore range.

Boi has quoted Rae’s collections after second weekend at 121.5 CR’s.according to that its not even going to cross airlifts total of 129 CR’s too.but I believe indicine n I hope Rae’s to cross 135 CR’s which is great considering the big clash.but the huge manipulation from both the parties seems to overtake the gud collections both movies managed to take.
So, Kaabil is a HIT & what about Raees? It needed 140Cr to break even for distributors?
Finally happy moments for all Salman fans .as Kaabil collects little more than Raees in 2nd weekend according to trade.don’t know whether these figures are completely correct or not.

@Tahshir, when 1 big film & 1 small film clashes, then winner is decided by the verdict of the films. Kaabil will be HIT as it was sold for 42Cr & Raees was sold for over 70Cr, so it needed 140Cr to break even for distributors. Kaabil is the winner as costs were low. Raees will be average domestically.
I guess the total for raees is 123.95
According to producers Kaabil 2nd Sunday – 11.88 crore .
How will these trade guys or youe website know the collections.
These are just estimates. Trying to bring down the collections is a good way to gain traffic but unethical.
So you will give the LBO prediction and also give the estimates. ha ha ha..question bhi apne, answer bhi apne.
Producer figures should be taken as final as a film is their product . Its not your product or trades product. They put in the money and their collections will be Final.

When BOI quotes Krrish 3’s collections to be 178Cr, they don’t include 10Cr from Tamil+Telugu versions, which would make it 188Cr (more than HNY, ETT). Also, Komal Nahta had reported earlier that Krrish 3 crossed 210Cr in India.
But, he’s mostly biased towards films with any involvement with Zee, just look at his tweets.

Conclusions – We can easily blame Raees Producers already knows that they going to win clash.

Above number can not show the real faith of srk.. As a fan if him I am really happy with choice of his movie.. Fan was flop but his acting was one of the best of his career and dear zindagi was really good movie.. And tge praise for raees can not describe in words.. SRK is an ugly competitor. He can use all the dirty tricks available to push the other movie. started threatening exhibitors to get better screens, then using BOI and other trade sources under report Kabil. If you start pushing someone(read Rakesh Roshan here) to the maximum obvious reaction will be he will fight back whether by good or bad means. So filmkrafts started reporting higher numbers to stay afloat in the competition. There also this idiot started manipulating and putting fake numbers to boast Raees a 150 cr movie. But nothing new for him as he has done earlier in case happy new year…36cr opening goes to 44cr…170 cr movie becomes 200+. SRK might be getting orgasms with these kind of manipulations in his old age, but one thing is clear he is nothing in front of the other stars Salman and Amir and even Akshay who is consistently delivering hits 3-4 times a year.Even if SRK eats a box of viagra he will not be able to give more then 1 or 1.5 movie per year.time for this old man to retire and play with his small kid.
