Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees has completed its first week at the box office with net box office collections of Rs 109.01 crore in 7 days – as per official figures released by Red Chillies Entertainment.

@Indicine…. you should make two columns. 1st Official and 2nd Yours. You predicted and estimated nearly 40 crs on opening day for Sultan but Producers inflated by showing less no.s 36 crs only (unlike HNY which inflated 9 crs from 36 to 45) but u were expecting 38-40. on 5th Day Sunday u were predicting 40 crs but fell short by 2 crs (dirty game were played by YRF. Everyone know this controversy). So that’s why I am suggesting you to make ur own predictions and estimations. and post ur own with Producers figs… But u shouldn’t be biased towards stars, for ex : u shouldn’t post less no.s for Salman khan’s films to show that film in bad light. and later u will say that we predicted just 35 but producers are showing 40 by inflating. if u will do so then we have BOI too to judge u. or don’t post more for SRK film as u will say that we predicted 30 but they r showing just 25 crs… again there are other sites to judge u.

Raees official figs are 109 crores and trade figs are 104 only 5 crores diff. Where as Kabil official 79 crores and 61 crores trade figs with 18 crores diff which is big difference. @indicine don’t compare it with kabil.

SRK paid BOI, Kaabil figures are correct and BOI does not have accurate info. This is w.r.t difference of 18 – 19C .

SRK cannot compete even with Hrithik so manipulating, It happened same for all his other movies, This is w.r.t just 3 C difference
I’m only going to consider boi verdict even if the difference is minimal but haters should try to get some life instead of blindly stooping low with comments.
Jan period/clash/genre and done records which no film has done at this time, still such comments…No wonder KRK don’t feel an ounce of shame for his tweets.
P.S: There is no denial that Salman/Aamir are the top star in the current scenario . I’m not a blind fan to say like that but no one had been better like SRK even in the average phase of their carrier.

SRK started his manipulation game from MNIK. He was frustrated to see Ghajini and 3 Idiots earning way more than his films. From then (2010) SRK’s every movie has been manipulated. MNIK collected 72 crore and was not a clean hit in India, despite SRK fan site BOI declaring it HIT. It could not even cross its budget. Same is true for Ra.One. Overall in the last 7-8 years starting from 2010 SRK has done about 80 crores of manipulation in total. HNY took it another level with 9 crore manipulation on the very first day. There is a reason why people don’t trust him anymore. He was never as big as he claimed to be. He just knew how to play the media game better than everyone else before social media took over. I am not a SRK hater, he has done remarkably well to reach where he is now as an outsider but this kind of manipulation does not suit the so called “King of Bollywood”.
From this moment onward i will stop following collection/news/update of both Raees and Kaabil.
I am deeply disturbed with this ugly clash.
My appeal to everyone, in social media platform SRK fans are abusing HR fans and vice versa.
Both teams are playing games and with our emotions. Why should we (fans) abuse each others.

Kaabil team have been inflating numbers from DAY ONE! Every Single damn day they have added 2-3 crore extra and Indicine shamelessly reported it as fact. Now that there is slight discrepancy in Raees’s numbers, they are reporting it IMMEDIATELY. wow! :) Gotta love the fair play
Please tell me Team Indicine, what extra is the difference between the trade figure for Raees and Raees Producer figure..? A difference of 3.8%?? Is that all. Surely any value of estimation will account for a margin of error around the 5% mark right..? You guys have admitted yourself it is near impossible to take an accurate account. So any difference with Raees is falling within a 5% marjin.

I dont think Raees has done manipulation of more than 5%(I believe around 3cr on mon and tue as for first 5 days Raees collection is even equal to BOI which I think posts lowest collection ) whereas Kaabil has done around 30-40% of maipulation. Where were you for first 5 days when Kaabil was manupulating hugely? why dint this type of article came at that time?
Now please post your collections for both movies and let us know how much manipulation both movies have done. While trying to be neutral you ended up taking a side. Indicine don’t you always post figures by the production houses? Maybe RCE is manipulating figures, but it’s weird when you say there’s inconsistency in all 7 days. Official figures vs trade figures were almost identical the entire weekend. The last 2 days there seems to be some discrepancy.
So far 5 crore indescrepancy in ~105 crore. Compare that to Kaabil’s 15 crore in ~65 crore.
My opinion now stands confirmed.for all box office figures of raees you have reasons and irrelevant explainations while for kaabil the figures are not even posted till now.why waiting for the producer inflated figures.

I know I’m gonna get so many dislikes for this comment but….
Raees was disappointing. SRK was outstanding, theres nothing new about that, but he needed a better director and editor. A good screenplay was failed by lousy direction. Here in the U.S, people were yawning after the interval.
Indicine has made a very big statement when they say that LBO will not be made for Raees,since it was inconsistency in collections on all seven days just for Raees.
It has to be proven for the sake of the credibility of Indicine.Because until Sunday Indicine did not make any such statement regarding this issue,but suddenly after monday,Indicine came out with this statement,that the collections for Raees showed inconsistency for 7 days.It has to be proven because a question will be raised against the credibility of Indicine.
I personally love this Indicine, and want Indicine to prove their statement,because truth must be shown to the people.
