Raaz 3 has opened to a very good response at the box office today. The presence of Emraan Hashmi, sexual content, horror and brand value has worked once again for the Bhatt’s.
The paid previews on Thursday did Rs 60 lakhs of business. On Friday, the mass centres were very strong (75%), while multiplexes recorded around 60% occupancy for the noon shows. The 3D version performed much better.
The opening day figures should be higher than both Jism 2 (7.54 cr) and Jannat 2 (8.17 cr). If the film picks up for the evening and night shows, especially at multiplexes, a 10 crore+ opening day is possible.

In 2008, Emraan Hashmi’s Jannat grossed more than Salman’s three films. Then Emraan Hashmi’s Tum Mile grossed more than Salman’s disasters Main Aur Mrs.Khanna(8 crore) & Yuvraaj(17 crore) in 2009. So if some Emraan fans tell that Emraan is better than Salman,I cannot question them.
Dear Rockstar, the film must be good. I liked Jannat & Once Up On A Time In Mumbaai more than Dabanng.But Emraan Hashmi do not have the fan following to pull hundred crores of his own.
