Priyanka Chopra may star in ‘Baywatch’

Actress Priyanka Chopra is in talks to join Hollywood actors Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Efron in the upcoming film ‘Baywatch’, based on the 1990s TV series about California lifeguards.

‘Baywatch’ centres on the leader of an elite group of lifeguards (Dwayne Johnson) who is forced to team up with a young, former Olympian, played by Efron, to save their beloved bay.

Scheduling conflicts with the film’s shoot and Priyanka’s ABC show ‘Quantico’ still need to be worked out, but the actress would play the story’s villain.

If the deal is struck, ‘Baywatch’ would be Priyanka’s English-language feature debut. She is already creating waves internationally with her maiden American TV series ‘Quantico’ and also won her first international honour People Choice Award for the best actress in a new TV series.

  • I was carrying 2 stars for Tamasha before watching it…After watching it should have given 3.5 or 4 stars…I liked the movie…Not because of Ranbir and Deepika…I don’t like ranbir Either…But in Tamasha,The character Ved is like a Robot Machine…He forcely living someone’s else life(His dad)…He doing office and behaved polite and well…But he want to be a Story-teller or an Theatre actor…I watch Ranbir’s eyes,The character Ved carrying so much pain deep inside in his heart…First time i cried in Ranbir starring movie..Though i am not his fan..I liked Tum saath hio..Don’t know why this movie failed at box-office…But i am sure Ranbir will come back soon…
    I learned from this movie is-Never ever live somebody else’s life..Because if you have no interest in that profession Doctor/Engineer or something…Do which u feel is incredible and u feel happy…

  • Why these stupid actresses are running towards hollywood. I mean firstly deppika and now pc do hollywood actresses come here fir work no then why we are giving so much importance to them. I know talent has no boundaries but they should utilise their talent here. These people are just begging roles from hollywood we can see anil kapoor role in mi as an example. We should also stop running towards oscars bcoz they will never give credits to our work.

  • Some people are just never happy for other people’s achievements in life. Priyanka has gone so far that no other miss world winner has ever done even Aishwarya Rai. Pc also is being appreciated immensely for her acting and not just beauty in Hollywood. She is getting a lot of significant roles in Hollywood movies. Why can’t we just praise our own and wish her well. If u don’t wish to see her acting on screen, then don’t watch her movie. The rest of the world will watch her and she will keep getting more awards from Hollywood. U only need to stay alive to see when that will happen. Keep rocking Pc!
