Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has collected Rs 143.39 crore in 5 days at the box office and the film is set to cross the 150 crore mark today (Tuesday). Circuits that have been performing well over the weekend and on Monday, have held on strongly today.
Compared to Monday, the multiplex business too is steady after a huge drop yesterday. Circuits like Mysore, West Bengal, East Punjab aren’t performing as well as they should Gujarat has dropped for the first time on Tuesday.
The average drop in business from Monday seems to be in the 10-12% range, as of 5PM in the evening. The 6-day business should touch the 154 crore mark and the first week business will be at around the same level as Salman Khan’s Kick, which collected Rs 164 crore in its first week.
The trend is very similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year last year, but the first week business of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will be higher than the Farah Khan directed film.
PRDP has collected around Rs 64 crore in the overseas markets (Monday collections from North America not included). It has also crossed the Rs 250 crore mark worldwide (gross). The 6-day worldwide collections of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo now stands at Rs 257.2 crore.

- Friday – 31.05 crore
- Saturday – 30.07 crore
- Sunday – 28.30 crore
- Monday – 13.62 crore
- Total – 143.39 crore
So after a crash on Monday the film will sustain in the coming days but on the lower side..the verdict may not go beyond superhit..it wil be interesting to see how much effect will Spectre have in its second week..I beleive Spectre can be the third biggest Hollywood opener and if the screen space is good then even a 10 crore day 1 is on cards..as of now it’s just a wait and watch situation for PRDP till next weekend

* K3 bigger than CE in short Hrithik is bigger than Srk
* In top 3: Aamir, Salman & Hrithik. Srk is not even in top 3
* In 250 club, Aamir have 2, Salman 1, Hrithik almost there where’s SRK ???
* Hrithik gave 244 crs in Diwali 2013 but Srk crawled to 203 crs despite high screen counts & ticket prices.
* Before you refer PRDP with HNY, compare genre of K3 (famous sequel) & HNY (Masala genre) with PRDP (Family).
However I still ask for comparisons of number of screens, ticket prices & occupancy of PRDP & HNY from Indicine that will clear everything. You may chant whatever you want nothing is gonna change, Salman will still be ahead of h@klu n now even Hrithik as per your own words. Srk comes 4th !!!!!!!!! Lol

Story: i am big disapointed by prdp team.the story of prdp is too bakwas,weak and boring,it maybe out dated .bahubali was also out dated story but it was well written and later it created history.the story of prdp is even worser than jai ho.i mean how could sooraj write this.sooraj tried to set the raja-maharaja story in modern days but he failed.he failed big times what he create with salman before. sooraj’s prevous movies with salman were about middle class family so the related to common people .they were very good stories.but prdp is all about raja-maharaja-yuvraj’s family problem which out of understanding of common people.

So those two days will be considered as holiday. In case of PRDP, Thursday was Diwali day and Friday was a semi-holiday (Bhai Dooj) and anyway, even if Friday was a normal working day, you can’t compare it with Monday. Because on Friday, at least evening shows will pick up as next day will be a holiday. But same is not the case with Monday.

@xzone : It is not a shame to say that movie like PRDP is almost giving neck to neck competition to a Masala genre movie with SLAM/WHAM tours and promotions. It is not clear why PRDP opening day collections are less than HNY (per producers) despite having more screen, slightly high ticket prices and same occupancy as HNY. Any statistician or Accountant will be able to list and show you the reality. Unfortunately those who have the accurate or real data are not doing it. Even if we accept the HNY opening collections there is not much difference in it and judging by PRDP genre it is outstanding but you dont worry it will cross every movie of your queen as it has already surpass HNY (week 1) closing to the end of first week !!!!! The collections are good but not as per standards of Salman and his fans which I wont deny and accept it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hence, 6 days worldwide collections should be 220cr+64cr= 284cr.
