The Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 31.03 crore and the Telugu/Tamil business (figures of which hasn’t been officially released) should take the total to around the 31.7 crore mark.
The drop in business of PRDP is lower than Happy New Year, even though the SRK starrer had the advantage of Day 2 being a Saturday.
Day 3 will be interesting because HNY couldn’t take advantage of a big holiday on Sunday. If PRDP can put up similar collections on Saturday, as HNY did on Sunday, it’ll be a good weekend trend for the film.

@Indicine : HNY’s second day was Saturday (Which is not necessarily a holiday in many parts of the country). In the same way, PRDP’s second day was a partial holiday (Bhaidooj) and many offices declare a holiday on this festival. So if you are mentioning plus point for one movie, add the same for another movie as well.
As I said before, collections will be rock steady till Sunday as many tickets are already booked (before pathetic reviews started popping out) and the acid test will start from Monday onwards.

Some people follow boi so they posting boi collection against official collection given by producer.If you notice each and every movie whether it is small or big there is always difference in collection of boi and producer.Is that mean each and every producer give manipalated figure and and only boi is corret?why there is always difference in trade and producer figure.each big film has atleast 15 to 20 cr diff eg ETT boi-186 producer-199 CE-208 and Producer-227 Kick-233 producer-211 BB-315 and producer-325 only amir khan movie get correct or min 5 cr difference in other hand Hritiks movie get more than 40 cr diff eg Krish3-175 and producer-245 and Bang bang-140 and 181 in case of HR movie its doubt full because differnce is huge but other star like srk and salman it is ok.Is only amir khan is honnest in Industry others are manipalute.Answer is no BOI only give Hindi version collection not dubbed version where srks movie get 10% from tamil and telgu version if we take hny collection 178 by boi and 205 by producer differnce is 27 cr where 11 to 12 cr from dubbed means collection is around 190 cr diff is 15cr which is ok.Even honest fans will understand boi always give lesser no of screen where producer know exact screen count for eg producer giving 4500 screen for india and boi say it is 4200 it is in case of every movie then how it is possible to same collection will be there for boi and producer.It is my request to all movie fans follow one resource whether boi or producer figure dont post BOI figure here.THanks

Bajrangi Bhaijaan record will remain intact n will remain biggest hit of 2015.
No amount of budget, grandeur, scale, stunts, promotions going to beat that.
Sorry PRDP, Tamasha, Dilwale n Bajirao Mastaani but 2015 will be remembered only for Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Film will collect 220-235cr lifetime.
And only get Superhit tag due to 140cr high budget.
Result is similar like HNY but PRDP has 4day weekend that will give it a difference of 30 cr from HNY.
BUT PRDP will get a big fall on 3rd week due to Tamasha.
But its also good after such mixed reviews & WOM.

To those who believes Indicine and official collection.
The first day estimate of hny of Indicine was can see with below link and then compare it with official figures and trade figures which were 38-38cr all India by trade and 39cr by Indicine

Guys please remember The hny official screen count of 5000 screens and prdp 4500 screens. Though now for Indicine it is around 4000 but interestingly collection remain 45cr official. why this biasness.
Any guy who following Indicine know that Indicine early estimates are very close to actual trade figure than officials.
As per the early estimate HNY first day hindi net was 36.9 cr and all India 39.05cr.
Let’s compare it another biggie which released earlier than CNY.

Now my question to Indicine that why you guys even down market your skills, you guys are very good in prediction and estimate specially for big films and your sources are too strong, but you guys killing your trust powers with these bullshit official collection. can you please advise how come hny screens 5000 of last year is now less than 4500 screens of prdp this year.Are you making fool of your users earlier or now. If screen size reduce to 700-800 screens than how come the collection remain same. Idealy it should came down as it can’t happen that there were no adiences where these screens added earlier and remove after. I had earlier predicted prpd and bb to be hgoty and the other runner-up but I think runner-up space is still vacant between prdp and Dilwale (if dilwale can be universally accepted).
Bb maybe raised more explectation for prdp, the movie is just holding strong because of Salman to be candid. For me no repeat value like all his series of blockbuster from ready to bb.

My review for prdp
First i entered theater with expextation ofblight hearted comedy with story and movie didnt dissapointed me
Yeah there are too many songs but every song has its own charm and it goes well with movie i didnt got bored at all infact i started liking the songs
Acting-salman rocked the sequence when he return from sister home as price vijaykumar was outstanding he speaked lot with his eyes and haters go and see to know what is acting
He has perfect comic timing he rocked
Second comes swara bhaskar awesome acting
Direction–sooraj bharjatya should have edited and keprt some twist at last that would have more imoact neverthless he directed woth his style
Music-loved every song especially aaj unsey milna hai
Overall a good family entertainer with good acting dont conpare it with bajrangi bhaijaan two genres are different

Secondly you should know the difference between Entertaining n family drama movie. I feel PRDP has more heart touching scenes than entertaining, if someone can’t feel that or see it then he is not only home less or family less but heart less as well. And yes, many neutral fans are watching it and me, being a Salman Khan hater watched it. So that is not my point. Even I said that these tickets are pre-booked and thus there was not a single seat empty in the audi. Most of the people now-a-days book the tickets through BookMyShow which doesn’t provide cancellation. Also, people are bound to watch movies in this weekend and they don’t have other options. So till Sunday, collections will go steady for sure.
And last, Dilwale was announced in March. And by that time, PRDP was not even shot 50%. So possibilities are always there to add “Dilwale” with Prem post its announcement.
