The advance booking of Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which opened yesterday, has received a fabulous response all across India. It started slow yesterday, as not many were aware that the advance booking had begun at multiplexes.
Today, advertisements were all over newspapers which has resulted in a huge demand for tickets.
The Salman Khan starrer will be playing on a record numbers of screens and has a record number of shows too, even though the runtime is on the higher side.
Trade sources say, the demand for tickets in the first two days is way better than Salman’s last release Bajrangi Bhaijaan and with 3 more days to go before the film releases in theatres, most tickets could be sold out by Wednesday itself.
If you haven’t booked your tickets of PRDP, you should go book them now. Availability of tickets could be a problem on Day 1 (November 12).

on tuesday & wednesday, a huge number of tickets for the entire weekend will be sold. Salman khan’s last few films released on a non-holiday friday like bajjjrangi & kick. The last time salman khan’s holiday opening day of ek tha tiger set the record by a huge margin from 25cr to 32+cr.
Im absolutely sure this movie is going to be crap n i bet u save ur money for a better movie! This is not as huge as BB…
salmans stardom is really unmatchable , really happy to see him doing good movies like bajrangi . And all my wishes for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hopefully will be a good family movie .

Theatres have started the advance booking of PRDP 5 days before the release which means that trade is quite confident about the movie . Also there are huge expectations from this movie as October was ok with PKP 2 being the surprise . SIB underperformed and Shaandaar was a failure . The first day will be huge . Salman fans will watch this movie which is quite obvious and families will also watch but how far it will go that we will have to see in the coming days . As far as content goes this is a huge gamble . The track record of Salman and Sooraj cannot be overlooked for sure but the times has changed . There will be many songs in the movie and the length will be over 3 HRS . If everything goes right then nobody can stop this movie from doing a mammoth total . But if something is missing then it can be a underperformer even on a festival . Salmam is doing such kind of movie after 16 years and Sooraj is coming back to direction after 9 years so this point cannot be overlooked . Till 26th no one can stop PRDP no matter what the content . Tamasha is also not looking promising and if Tamasha is a Flop then it can boost PRDP’s 3rd week collections . But HS 3 will definitely make an impact in the 4th week as the songs and the trailer have got a good response . Also Wazir has been postponed to 8th Jan 2016 . I will wait to see the City Wise report of PRDP . But i am having a feeling that PRDP will do bumper business in MP, Rajasthan, UP and Bihar .
