The trailer of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has crossed the 3 million mark in exactly 24 hours after the trailer was released on Youtube.
Directed by Sooraj R Barjatya, the trailer of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo currently has 3,086,603 views (30.8 lakhs). The likes vs dislike ratio is good – 44,270 likes against 4,837 dislikes.
In comparison, the teaser of Bang Bang received 2.8 million views in 24 hours. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan took 2 days to cross 3 million. Kick traielr had received 1.6 million views in 24 hours. PK teaser got 2 million views in 2 days and FAN teaser received 1.2 million views in 24 hours after its release. It has to be noted that the makers of Happy New Year had earlier said that their trailer received 10 million views in the first 24 hours across all platform like Facebook, Youtube, WhatsApp and others.
The audience that watch trailers on Youtube has increased quite significantly in the last couple of years. With 24 million views, the trailer of Krrish 3 is the most watched Hindi film trailer on Youtube. That’ll be the record to beat for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

PRDP trailer analysis :
First 40 seconds : A long and boring bhajan being played in the background ( probably inspired from the likes of Anup Jalota/Anuradha Podwal) :D
40-50 sec : Salman was shown proclaiming “Mai wapas aa gaya hu” , means he was released back from his cafe. Also, his mansion was shown along with him.
50-90 sec : Expressionless Sonam was shown sharing the screen space with so called “Prem”. Few boring desi dance steps from Sonam and same typical expressionless gestures from our non-actor.
90-100 sec : Some forcibly added emotions which look more of plastic emotions miles away from reality.
100-120 sec : All other actors (who actually have the responsibility to carry this crap on their own shoulders) were shown along with the lead actor ” Niel Nitin Mukesh”.
Conclusion : If you’re having anxiety after watching this trailer, then I strongly recommend you to stay away from this utter crap this diwali.
Whereas if you’re having little headache rest all is normat,then definitely stay away from this marriage DVD as it will act as slow poison and will destroy all your senses for next 2-3 months. In that case you won’t be able to enjoy the ultimate entertainer of this Christmas “Dilwale”.
