Two new posters of Prakash Jha’s upcoming film – Raajneeti 2 and Gangaajal 2 are out. Jha will be directing the sequel to the two popular films.
Ajay Devgn who delivered one of the best performances of his career in Gangaajal (2003) won’t be a part of the sequel (he has said that he won’t ‘fit’ into the film). However, he will be co-producing it with Prakash Jha.
“As a filmmaker life long in your career you keep looking for a mascot and Ajay Devgn is the one for me. He gave me hope and faith and we continued to grow with each other. Both of us have decided to produce multiple films together and today he is here for Gangaajal 2 as that film cannot be complete without him” Prakash Jha said.
In the poster, a female actress is shown – she will be playing the lead protagonist. A stormy river is seen flowing on the banks of what looks like the ghats of Varanasi.
The poster of Raajneeti 2 is also shown with a mob protesting outside the Parliament. The star cast hasn’t been confirmed.

@ Ajay rocks – first time i am disagree with u – ajay didnt make slb’s career cuz hddcs had best performence by whole team- Salman, ajay, aishwarya, slb, ismile everybody gave their best to this memorable movie Hum dil de chuke sanam. Ajay’s character was more suited to me cuz aisa hi hu main but i was not successfull like him in marriage. Salman showed his all talent in this film but i wanna be like someone in this movie he is Ajay devgan of hddcs truly best husband of hindi cinema.

@Yuvraj, at that time (HDCS) SLB was going through a rough time because his ambatious film Khamoshi was flopped although it was critically acclaimed and no one wanted to work with him except Sallu and Ajay. remember Ajay had many hits in his kity at that time but accepted that role because of SLB (that role was suitable Ajay but was second lead).
anyway HDCS was the movie who helped SLB to overcome the bad phase of his career.

khamoshi wasnt a bad movie actually it was better movie but people cant accept such movies include phir milenge from salman so it was flop but slb won everybodies heart with khamoshi the musical. i remember pyar to hona hi tha at 1998 but not many of ajay’s movies of that time plz mention.
