After ‘Wanted’ with Salman Khan director Prabhu Deva returns with yet another action flick titled Rowdy Rathore. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar to action films, something that he hasn’t done for quite sometime now. His last comic action role was Tashan, which failed miserably at the box office.
But with Prabhu Deva at the helm and action films doing so well at the box office in the last couple of years, Rowdy Rathore is likely to carry a lot of buzz.
Opposite Akshay is Salman’s Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha. The film went on floors last week and the worldwide release is expected to be mid-2012.
