Policegiri has collected Rs 2.5 crore in its opening day at the box office. The Sanjay Dutt starrer has fared well at a few single-screens, while multiplexes business was poor throughout the day.
As expected, the genre of the film and Sanjay Dutt’s fan-following in mass-centres helped the film put up decent numbers in circuits like C.P Berar, Delhi/UP, Central India and Bihar.
Policegiri is likely to collect around 8 crore in its opening weekend, as the morning shows on Saturday too is around the same level as Friday.
