She turned 35 last year, yet Aishwarya Rai manages to look stunningly gorgeous! Ash along with her legendary father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan were the center of attraction at the inauguration of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani’s Hospital and Research Centre in Andheri, Mumbai.
The hospital, under the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group was inaugurated by Ashok Chavan, the chief minister of Maharastra. Equipped with state-of-art technology, the KDA Hospital is built on a 10,00,000 square foot land in Andheri/
Apart from Aishwarya with mother Vrinda Rai and Amitabh with wife Jaya, those present were Kokilaben (after whom the hospital has been named), wife of the great industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani along with son Anil Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani. Music director Anu Malik, Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, Jaya Bachchan and Gulshan Grover were also present.
Mukesh Ambani, the Reliance Industries Chairman and son of Kokilaben, was expected to grace the launch, but did not turn up.
Rs 75 crores was donated to the hospital by the Ambani’s as it was built to celebrate her Kokilaben’s 75th birthday!
