The first look of Rajnikanth’s Rana is out. Rana directed by K S Ravikumar, has received tremendous hype even before shooting began in Chennai yesterday.
There were plenty of rumours. It all began with Deepika Padukone, who dropped out of the Housefull sequel with Akshay Kumar, to star alongside Rajnikanth. Then it was Rekha and Vidya Balan, the former walked out as she wasn’t happy with her pay check and when Vidya was denied the full script, she opted out too. Vidya’s loss was south actress Ileana’s gain. Sonu Sood was later signed on to play the baddie.
Rajnikanth will be seen portraying a triple role in Rana, his first character will be paired opposite Deepika Padukone, his second character will be with Illena and for the third character Rajni will share screen space with none other than Tabu!
K S Ravikumar who has worked with Rajni in Padayappa and Muthu will be directing the superstar. Oscar winner A R Rahman will be composing the music yet again. Rana, which is hailed as a blocbkuster even before its theatrical release, is expected to release in 2012.

Sorry to write this,I heard That this film will not release and his last film would be robot .which was a huge success .pls dont misunderstand me I am his BIG FAN .but I belive in FUTURE PREDICTIONS
