Phantom was rock-steady on its 3rd day at the box office, as occupancy level for the morning and noon shows on Sunday was higher than Saturday. The film is performing very well at multiplexes in major cities.
Phantom is set for a good weekend total of around 35 crore net, but Monday will be crucial for the Kabir Khan directed film. The word-of-mouth is positive, so there are expectations that business will hold to respectable numbers on Monday too.
The timing of release is what has worked big time for ‘Phantom’, because the Kabir Khan factor after ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has helped the film get a reasonably good opening.
Still, Phantom is a costly film, so it has a long way to go before it can remove costs. It has to collect around 80-85 crore to break even.

Kabir Khan has earned so much through BB than even if he doesn’t break even with Phantom, he won’t lose much. It’s a win-win situation for everyone except Saif, obviously.

Just watched it. It’s a very nice movie. 3/5. Before watching it many people were talking of katrina her star power… which is ok but come on you got to give this movie to Saif n kabir. I won’t compare her with Deepika No way!! Katrina hit movies have been with Salman Srk Aamir Rhanbir n Akki. Only with Ranbir her screen space was lengthy. The rest ? Nop! Kat can’t carry a movie alone on her shoulders… No chance…can she do a heroine? Fashion? Mary kom? Queen? Piku? No way!! Suprised some people are saying her star power is even more than Deepika. Now that’s a big joke!!!!

I watched Phantom today. It is a good enough movie n shot very well. I found it to be better than Bang Bang !!!!!! To be honest movie is not anti Pakistan but antiterrorism n even some good Pakistani people sacrifice their lives for a better Pakistan. Saif did good job but he lacks the connect with audience which top 3 Khans have, Kat looks ravishing as usual but not much scope for her, ETT remains her best spy action movie. The concept is old we have seen Baby & D-day before still hats off for makers !!!!! I hope this gets at least a Hit verdict !!!!!!!!

Every one knows reality.Pak. Govt. Has banned the phanton. But in india people had banned it……because film is going to be a flop.so kabir khan don’t make films based on lie.
These movies earned this much just due to their marketing. They are average on paper and horrific on reel. I preferred to watch one that was suggested by my friends on mymovierack.com. They have a different concept to rate movies and it is easy to find movies of my taste.
a full action film, good, but got a bit bored in the second half as I was waiting for the song ( Afghan Jalaibi).. the one saw in the film wasn’t as good as the clip they did with Katrina in it, thought it must be in the end but was “disappointed” and didn’t expect a sad ending at all!!
Budget = 70 Crore even with good trend life time = 73 crore Nett means @43% distributor share=31 crore only. Overseas bussiness max = 15 Crore Gross means @33% distributor share=5 crore only, Sattlite and other revenue= 30 Crore. Now total 31+5+30= 66 Crore recovery against budget of 70 Crore means another Flop/ below average for Saifu darling

Salman is not even in top 10 2000-09 bt now the scenario had been changed those who are above bhai at that time, now they are unable to keep eye contact with bhai. That is called magic, no one in history/future will wittnes such magic. That is called trouble. He takes the stardom to such a level that anyone else only dream but he enjoy.
