Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’ is shaping up to be an interesting film, as the pre-trailer teasers have managed to create quite a bit of buzz already!
Not many expected the teasers to be directly inspired from the much-imitated character of ‘Gabbar’ from Ramesh Sippy’s 1975 classic ‘Sholay’.
In the 4 teasers that have been released, Akshay is heard delivering some of the most popular Gabbar dialogues. His dialogue delivery is impeccable!

I cant believe Akkis dialogue delivery has been rated as ‘impeccable’…. I mean come on guys- you can hear the lacklustre lethargic energy in Akki Sirs voice n thats mostly bcoz he knows himself that he cannot replicate the ‘menacing spine tingling shock effects’ that were evident in Amjad Khans voice…!
I dont care what anyone says but from the sound of the 4 teasers it sounds like this is another typical
Akki movie that has been rushed through in order for Akki Sir to head towards his next 20cr signed film. Never expected the film would be some kind of homage to Amjad Sirs iconic character- thats asking too much of Akki Sir- hope Im wrong but I dont feel this one will strike the right chords with the nostalgia loving audience who may feel like me that somethings arent worth repeating/ imitating…! Good luck but I fear this one could be another 60cr hit ONLY….
The teasers look interesting, but the only thing that is bothering me is the inspiration from Sholay! @indicine: Have the makers obtained the official rights to use the ‘Gabbar’ Dialogues? I hope, the Sippys don’t start accusing the makers of copyright infringement at the last moment. Though, Akshay has given a proper tribute to the Original Gabbar! But, one thing’s for sure, the movie should open hugeee like Rowdy Rathore. Might be Akky’s first 20 cr.+ opening. Again, Akshay’s line up looks solid this year! All the best #akkians. I look forward the most for his next two films.

I generally don’t comment but after seeing thus teaser I can’t stop myself by commenting,superb teaser, what a pitch,and as for movie concerned it is remake of Tagore Telugu movie,and believe me it was the best movie and one of the top crossers of Telugu industry
i get the feeling that Akshay kumar has to still work a lot in his dialogue delivery. maybe the hindi version is going to ruin the impacts of tamil and telugu versions.

I think no one can give a huge tribute to Gabbar Character better than Akshay Sir, teaser told that Gabbar Is Back will sure shot Super Hit movie this time Team Akshay will easily achieve 100 crore + and for that Akshay Sir need to do promotions very much which i am seeing in these days.
