In sure Knight and Day did not go on promoting the way Bang Bang is claiming to be the best action film!!! Come on guys what is so special about this that we have not seen before!!! U guys need to think outside the box!!!

bang bang defenitely looks huge….mind boggling stunts as they have shown in the trailer/teaser….
I liked knight and day too (although it bombed at the box office)…. I think the main weakness of the movie was its slow uninteresting predictive second half.
If siddharth would have worked on its second half….its going to be really huge and Indian audience should go crazy after the movie…..
but still for those who have watched the original like me….some fun part may be missing and we may not find it that thrilling….
also Haider might give it a competition at the multiplexes…..as viewers that have already watched knight and day may prefer to watch haider(which also looks equally promising from the trailer) over bang bang…

a fast paced action thriller with most attractive pair in centre-dying to watch bang bang.and about promotion,it does not matter if trailer will be launched or not.but what they have released so far,these should be positively aired in television and radio.

If good actions alone can make a movie hit, Blue starring Akki, Sanju, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta, Katrina had to be a super hit. It had amazing chase sequences and actions.
Well, Bang Bang has only shown some actions scenes of the movie. Two songs have been released and rarely shown on TV. How do mass people come to know? How can some nuts it will be the best action? In the teaser alone, there are already similar action stunts done in its original Knight and Day. So, let’s wait and watch!
Initially, Bang Bang had more hypes than HNY because of HNY’s bad trailer and 1st song. But Manwaa and Lovely, it is slowly overshadowing bang bang.
Well, those people that keep talking about the realistic and good content of a movie, they are advised to watch a film called Benny and Babloo staring KK Menon and Rajpal Yadav. The film’s name sounds funny but you can relate it with real life and really worth watching. Available on YouTube!

Commando is the best realistic action movies in the recent years. What happened to its fate at BO? Besides, whatsoever shown in Bang Teaser are not mostly actions but stunts.
What masterstroke by Bang Bang Marketing Team some guys are talking about? Why r u comparing with Dhoom 3? Dhoom 3 had Aamir, YRF, Brand Value. Its makers released teaser, trailer, short promos of the songs, some dialogues. And Bang Bang?? I think Fox Star has lost its faith!
Its a safe bet Bang Bang will do 30 cr plus first day but it needs a kick start in promotional activities soon- as the thullu said the common folk need to know about the film… Im in the UK and the last few weeks not much music from bang bang has reached out tv set- Dont know about in India but even crappy films of this year like Humshakals or Dogs Day Out had a music track playing every other song non stop…. Mind you over promotion can back fire on you but still promote your film to your respective audience thoroughly…
My prediction is 150cr plus first week and cant say what lifetime will be as I dont know anything about its story to say whether it willappeal solely to classes or masses or both….
The story of knight and day is perfect to be remade into a bollywood film.. Simple story, high on action, good music and two superstars.. Just what the indian audience likes.. Bang bang has all contents.

@Rahul25 — DHOOM 3 has the DHOOM brand attached with it which is itself a huge promotion and also the DHHOM brand coming our after 7 years made people more curious…..also they released DHOOM title song, Kamli, Malang etc before the film release which incresed the buzz.

Comparing strategy to Dhoom3 is childish.
Dhoom is a brand, just like Krrish is, and hence there is no need for extra promotions.
Bang Bang is not a brand, and is fresh and hence needs the push, and even though BB has few people murmuring it is still not huge as is made out, as the buzz is only limited maximum to people surfing the net.
Instead of finding fanny kind of avg reach movie, the makers should have gone all out in promoting BB in huge way.
HRO is a much bigger and better star than Arjun Kapoor, and moreover it is an action masala flick, and hence the reach would be far deeper as far as audience is concerned and the more the promotion the more the reach it would have made.
