India’s cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will launch the trailer of his biopic ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’ across 3 cities in the country.
The star cricketer will travel to Mumbai, Delhi and Jalandhar to launch the trailer, along with Sushant Singh Rajput who plays Dhoni on-screen.
“Dhoni is a sensation across the country. He has a huge fan following, and what better way to launch the trailer than with the fans across various cities. We are now to take the very first glimpses of ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’ for audiences in Jalandhar, Delhi and Mumbai over two days” director Neeraj Pandey said in a statement.
‘M.S Dhoni – The Untold Story’ releases in theatres on September 30. The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Bhoomika Chawla, Kiara Advani, Herry Tangri and Disha Patani.

This is a pretty great idea to launch the trailer in 3 cities along with MS Dhoni . The makers will get the feedback from the audience directly and can also interact with the people . This movie is extremely crucial for Sushant as he has done only 3 movies in 3 years till now . Neeraj Pandey also has tried to do something new after directing nail biting thrillers . MS Dhoni is going through a terrible phase both in terms of his batting and captaincy . I have always felt the match sequences have been shabbily portrayed in Hindi movies except Lagaan and Iqbaal so it will be a very important criteria for the success of this film . The teaser was good but the poster was pretty ordinary so the trailer will play a very important role in generating buzz for the movie . The release date is also pretty good as Gandhi Jayanti falls on Sunday and it is coming back 1 week before Mirzya and 4 weeks before Shivaay and ADHM . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a huge fan of Dhoni and Neeraj pandey but for some unknown reason I am not excited to watch this one.. Its may be because Sushant singh is completely misfit for Dhoni and Neeraj is best when it comes to thriller(a Wednesday, Special 26, Baby)… And may be Dhoni himself would have been a better choice for the lead role….

Watched the trailer of Ms dhoni biopic at the trailer launch @Lovely Professional University…It was magnificent and I can’t wait to see the film…Excitement level is very high
